    摘要: A sewing thread made of synthetic fibers is described, whereby the ready-to-use sewing thread has an elongation at break between 25% and 85% and an elastic tensile elongation of between 30% and 95% of the elongation, determined by a measuring strength, corresponding to 70% of the absolute strength of the respective sewing thread. In addition, two methods for making a sewing thread are also described, whereby the sewing thread comprises either a plied yarn or an air-intermingled sewing thread. To produce this sewing thread yarn components with an elongation at break between 25% and 85% and an elastic tensile elongation of between 30% and 95% are selected, whereby thermal and preferably hydrothermal treatment is carried out after the actual yarn production.

    摘要: There is disclosed an acrylic fiber (a) consisting of an acrylonitrile polymer comprising an acrylonitrile unit in at least 80 wt % and less than 95 wt %, (b) having a monofilament dry strength of 2.5 to 4.0 cN/dtex, (c) having a monofilament dry elongation of 35 to 50%, and (d) forming a crack with a length of 20 nullm or more in its tension rupture lateral surface along the filament axis direction when rupturing the monofilament in a tension test. The fiber has even orientation in its surface and inside; is significantly improved in dry strength, dry elongation and dyeability; and exhibits wool-like hand feeling. It is, therefore, quite suitable as a synthetic fiber for various applications such as a garment material, e.g., a sweater and a home furnishing material such as a pile.

    摘要: A process for combining single color feed yarns, either dyed or melt pigmented, without twisting or heat-setting, to form an apparent space-dyed yarn product. The process includes the sequential steps of individually and simultaneously drawing two or more pre-spun, pre-colored singles yarns, at least one of which is differentially colored with respect to the other yarns; individually and simultaneously texturing the two or more yarns; individually and simultaneously entangling the two or more textured yarns in a first air-jet entangling process to form respective two or more entangle-sequenced yarns each having sequences of entangled and unentangled fibers; together air-jet entangling the two or more sequences of entangled and unentangled fiber yarns in a second air-jet entangling process to form a final apparent space-dyed yarn; and winding up the final apparent space-dyed yarn.
