摘要: Midway along an outer circulation passage provided outside a heating chamber, a steam generating device is arranged, and, through the outer circulation passage, steam is fed to the heating chamber. A control device controls a steam generating heater arranged inside the steam generating device and a vapor heating heater provided in a space through which an air stream flowing through the outer circulation passage is returned to the heating chamber, and forms a cooking sequence by using, singly or in combination, a first heating mode that uses superheated steam obtained as a result of the steam being heated with the vapor heating heater and a second heating mode that uses hot air or radiation heat obtained by making the vapor heating heater produce heat without supply of steam.

摘要: A method and apparatus for introducing an oxidant mixed with a carrier gas into pre-heating zone of a continuous furnace for effectively removing lubricant from powder metal compacts prior to sintering at high temperatures. Mixing a controlled amount of a gaseous oxidizing agent such as moisture, carbon dioxide, air or mixtures thereof with a carrier gas and introducing the mixture into the preheating zone of a continuous furnace under controlled conditions accelerates removal of lubricant from powder metal compacts prior to sintering at high temperature by decomposing lubricant vapors into smaller and more volatile hydrocarbons, produces sintered components with close to soot- and residue-free surfaces and with the desired physical properties, prolongs the life of furnace components including muffles and belts, and reduces downtime, maintenance and operating costs.

摘要: A heat treating furnace has a hot zone enclosure with a substantially rectangular cross section. The floor of the hot zone enclosure is formed such that it is removable independently of the remainder of the hot zone enclosure. The heat treating furnace has a heating element with a novel support element that is readily mounted on and removed from the hot zone enclosure and which adjusts to accommodate a wide range of heating element thicknesses and insulation shield thicknesses. The electrically insulating components of the support element are formed to resist electrical shorting resulting from metallization and to resist cracking from thermally induced stress. The heat treating furnace further includes a cooling gas injection nozzle formed to reduce turbulence in the injected gas stream and to be readily attached to or removed from the hot zone enclosure. The gas injection nozzle is preferably formed of a ceramic material and is mounted in an opening in the hot zone enclosure by a very coarse, light-bulb-like, thread formed in the body of the gas nozzle.

摘要: In the present invention dental prostheses are cured without the use of dental flasks using an electrically heated pressure vessel. The dental prosthesis is cured while in a plaster chamber which is placed in a curing container with ambient water. The apparatus includes a perforated table for supporting the curing container during heat curing. The vessel has a lid for sealing the top, an inlet for injection of compressed air, an outlet for exhausting of compressed air, and an electrical resistance heating means for heating water held in the vessel. The curing container holds ambient temperature water at a level which covers the plaster chamber prior to submerging the curing container in the vessel containing water at a temperature of 90.degree. C. to 100.degree. C. The table supports the outing container in the vessel so that the top edge of the curing container is above the level of water held by the vessel. The present invention provides that the plaster chambers with the dental prosthesis inside of it being already aggregated heat curing acrylic, are those which maintain the vertical dimension. They are within the curing container while they are gradually heated by the hot water of the processor. Pressure which could fracture the model and the prosthesis is avoided.
