    Abstract: A device may be used to assemble a rotor segment of an electric machine. The rotor segment may include a rotor shaft, a laminated core joined to the rotor shaft, and two pressure elements that clamp the laminated core. A method for assembling the rotor segment may involve positioning the rotor shaft in the device and orienting the rotor shaft using an orienting means of the assembly device, positioning the laminated core and at least one of the first or second pressure elements within a clamping means of the device, orienting the laminated core by means of a positioning module of the clamping means, and moving the rotor shaft relative to the clamping means such that the laminated core is pushed onto the rotor shaft and the at least one of the first or second pressure elements is connected to the rotor shaft.”

    Abstract: A rotor of an electric machine includes a rotor core including a rotor central core and at least one intermediate core element. A plurality of permanent magnets are located between the rotor central core and the at least one intermediate core element. The plurality of permanent magnets are secured to the rotor central core via one or more first mechanical interface connections. The one or more first mechanical interface connections are defined by a mechanical retaining feature located at one of the rotor central core or the plurality of permanent magnets, and a complimentary mechanical interface channel receptive of the mechanical retaining feature to secure the plurality of permanent magnets at the rotor central core.

    Abstract: A second core block is stacked on a first filler-vestige-accommodating steel sheet along a rotational axis and has a plurality of second magnet insertion holes. Each of the plurality of second magnet insertion holes is defined by a second inner wall. Each of a plurality of second permanent magnets is inserted into each of the plurality of second magnet insertion holes. Each of second spaces is provided between each of the plurality of second permanent magnets and the second inner wall. The filler fills the second spaces. The plurality of second magnet insertion holes have a plurality of second filler injection portions, respectively, via which the filler is injected into the plurality of second magnet insertion holes. The first filler-vestige-accommodating steel sheet has a plurality of first hole portions opposite to the plurality of second filler injection portions, respectively.
