摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide an electrode for secondary battery according to which the electrode density can be increased and furthermore the electric characteristics can be improved. In the present invention, the sheet material for electrode to be laminated on the surface of a current collector is prepared by mixing and kneading a powdered positive electrode active material or negative electrode active material and a finely powdered conductive material as main components to which a fluorine-containing polymer resin is added, screening the resulting mixture by a sieve to obtain particles of the mixture, adding a liquid lubricant to the particles, preforming the particles to make a sheet-like formed body, and stretching the sheet-like formed body in mono-axial or multi-axial direction.

摘要： Disclosed is a sliding member having a bearing alloy layer, an intermediate layer of Ni or a Ni alloy formed on the bearing alloy layer, and an overlay layer of a Sn alloy containing Cu formed on the intermediate layer. There exist Sn—Cu compounds in the overlay layer, which protrudently extend from the intermediate layer. The hard Sn—Cu compounds contribute to the overlay layer in improving fatigue resistance property. A soft Sn matrix being rich in an outer surface region of the overlay layer is responsible for keeping good conformability to have excellent anti-seizure property.

摘要： A bearing with an oil film thickness measuring device in which sensor portions at distal ends of four common optical fibers are connected to sensor mounting portions formed at four positions in an axial direction of a bearing body. A lubricating oil containing a fluorescent agent is supplied to a sliding surface of the bearing body. A laser beam generated from a laser beam generator is branched into four beams, which are applied to an oil film on a sliding surface through each of sensor portions. Fluorescence generated by the fluorescent agent in the oil film, passing through a return-route optical fiber, is introduced into a photomultiplier tube, and is detected. Since the fluorescence intensity detected by the photomultiplier tube is proportional to the thickness of oil film, the absolute value of oil film thickness can be measured. In this case, the oil film thickness can be measured at four positions.

摘要： A multilayer aluminum-base alloy bearing formed by bonding a bearing alloy layer made of an aluminum-base alloy to a steel back metal through an intermediate layer made of an aluminum-base alloy, the intermediate layer being composed of two layers, that is, a lower layer and an upper layer, the lower layer in contact with the steel back metal being lower in hardness than the upper layer. Since the lower layer is soft, it is excellent in bonding property for the back metal, and since the upper layer is hard, it withstands a load exerted on the bearing alloy layer.

The electric double layer capacitor is made of an activated carbon obtained by activating a hard-to-graphitize material (for example, phenol resin) with water vapor, and the activated carbon has a median particle size within a range from 4 μm to 8 μm in the particle size distribution and at least a peak observed on the side of smaller particle size than the median particle size in the particle size distribution.
