摘要： A UE activates a PS Data Off service to block downlink and uplink services except the exempted services determined by the HPLMN. To activate PS Data Off, the UE sends an indication to the MME or SGSN, or additionally to a S-CSCF or an IMS network. The UE may receive a confirmation of the PS Data Off activation and/or a list of exempt services. The MME may contact the HSS to notify about the activation of the PS Data Off and receive indication of support of the service or list of exempted services and send the indication and/or packet filtering per PDN to PDN GW(s). The PDN GW may contact a PCRF to get policy rules. The HSS may provide a list of exempt services to the S-CSCF.

摘要： Systems and methods for flowlet switching using memory instructions. One embodiment is a method of distributing packets over multiple paths. The method includes determining an elapsed time between a packet and a previous packet. The method further includes, in response to determining that the elapsed time is less than an inter-packet gap threshold: retaining a previously selected path value indicated in the flow record, and providing the previously selected path value to the processing thread for transmitting the packet over a previously selected path associated with the previous packet. The method also further includes, in response to determining that the elapsed time is greater than the inter-packet gap threshold: updating the flow record by replacing the previously selected path value with the path value of the selected path of the memory instruction, and providing the path value to the processing thread for transmitting the packet over the selected path.

摘要： An apparatus that is in idle mode and registered to a first radio access technology network and to a second radio access technology network may camp on a cell which is one of cells linked for spectrum sharing. The cells linked comprise at least a cell of a first type and a cell of a second type. When the apparatus is camping on such linked cell and detects a need to transit from the idle state to a connected state, the apparatus selects one of the linked cells, and performs initial access to a cell selected to transit from the idle mode to the connected state. The cell selected may be different than the cell camped on.

摘要： A method for allocating resources of a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), the method comprising: deterministically estimating a maximum latency for executing a network service at the FPGA; determining that the maximum latency is less than a threshold latency value associated with the network service; outputting an acknowledgement indicating that the maximum latency is less than or equal to the threshold latency value; receiving confirmation that the FPGA has been selected to execute the network service within a threshold time period; and deterministically scheduling the resources of the FPGA for executing the network service in response to receiving the confirmation within the threshold time period.
