Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biological tissue biopsy device including a body extending in a longitudinal direction, an outer needle installed to be connected to one side of the body and be extended in a longitudinal direction and including a first tube having a hollow portion formed therein and a second tube disposed in a direction parallel to the first tube to guide a hemostatic substance, an inner needle provided inside the first tube and extending in a longitudinal direction, and a sliding means provided in the body and installed to be connected to one end of the inner needle so as to enable the inner needle to move forward and backward. Here, the sliding means causes the inner needle to move a predetermined distance from the hollow portion of the first tube and be inserted into a target site.
Abstract:
Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for treating corneal endothelium wounds, the composition including angiogenin as an effective ingredient. The present invention relates to a new topical therapeutic use of angiogenin for treatment of corneal endothelium wounds, wherein the angiogenin that is generally known to be involved in angiogenesis activates a PI3K/Akt/eNOS pathway thereof in ocular corneal endothelium to increase migration and proliferation of corneal endothelial cells that are not capable of self-proliferation and to promote prevention and treatment of corneal endothelial cell wounds.
Abstract:
A method for biologically producing acetin such as monoacetin, diacetin, or triacetin according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes reacting acetyl-CoA with glycerol in the presence of a first O-acetyl transferase to obtain the acetin. With the method, acetin which is sustainable and safe, and has more excellent quality while not causing environmental pollution may be obtained.

The present invention relates to: a novel 6-methoxy-2-phenethyl isoindolin-1-one derivative compound having the ability to promote the increase of nerve growth factor, the ability to promote the growth of nerve cells, and antineuritic activity; and a composition for preventing, improving and treating neurological diseases, comprising the same.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a multilayered cell sheet of cardiac stem cells (CSCs) and a method of manufacturing the same. In particular, the present disclosure provides a method of manufacturing a multilayered cell sheet according to a single step culture procedure by using, as a three-dimensional matrix, a biodegradable natural polymer hydrogel and embedding CSCs in the hydrogel. The multilayered cell sheet of the present disclosure does not require any special device for the manufacturing, is manageable with good physicomechanical property, increases a cell engraftment rate after transplantation based on sufficient accumulation of various growth and protective factors and extracellular matrix between cells, and is also self-assembled by the cell-mediated hydrogel compaction, making nutrients transfer easy. Therefore, the multilayered cell sheet of the CSCs is expected to be usefully applicable as a therapeutic agent for myocardium regeneration.
Abstract:
Provided are an injectable intraocular microgel and an injectable intraocular hydrogel that are safe to a human body and that can release a drug in the eye for a long period of time. This injectable intraocular microgel may have a form in which a drug is loaded on a hyaluronic acid microgel generated by causing hyaluronic acid copolymers to cross-link with each other through a w/o emulsion method.
