    摘要: A process for dimensionally stabilizing an article molded from a synthetic resin material, such as PVC. The molded article is subjected to a first cooling treatment to cool the article at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature Tg of the synthetic resin followed by a heating treatment at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature Tg and then is subjected to a second cooling treatment again at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature Tg. Following such treatment steps, the molded article, such as side molding for automobiles, have less variation in dimensions and less shrinkage after molding in use.

    摘要: A microprinter for use in combination with such compact equipments as electronic calculator. The microprinter comprises a type belt driven through a belt pulley by a motor, a type selecting ratchet wheel combined with the belt pulley for rotation together with the latter, a hammer for pressing a selected type of the type belt to print the type on a recording sheet, a main printing gear driven by the motor, a selector lever capable of selectively engaging the type selecting ratchet wheel or the main printing gear, an armature plate associated with the selector lever, an electromagnetic clutch for driving the armature plate, and a sheet feed lever interlocked through the armature plate with the electromagnetic clutch. The motor drives sheet feed rollers for rotation through a LF clutch gear and a LF cam, the sheet feed lever is driven for turning through the armature plate and the electromagnetic clutch by the motor while the same is released from the limiting plate for limiting the swing motion of the sheet feed lever, the sheet feed lever is driven through the armature plate and the electromagnetic clutch by the motor so that the retaining pawl thereof engages a recess formed in the LF clutch gear to restrain the LF clutch gear from rotation, and the sheet feed lever is allowed to return to its home position when the armature plate is released from the electromagnetic clutch so that the retaining pawl thereof is disengaged from the recess of the LF clutch gear to allow the LF clutch gear to rotate.

    摘要: Provided is a method of living radical polymerization which does not necessitate complicated and intricate synthesis of a dormant species and which is highly efficient. A halogenated derivative compound is used as a dormant species for initiating living radical polymerization. The derivative compound is obtained by halogenating an alcohol compound having a non-conjugated structure or an amine compound having a non-conjugated structure with a halogenating agent capable of halogenating an alcohol or amine. A radical produced by elimination of halogen from the halogenated derivative compound is allowed to react with the unsaturated bond of the monomer. Thus, the monomer, which has a radical-reactive unsaturated bond, is polymerized by living radical polymerization. Preferably, the halogenating agent is a compound (NIS or the like) which also has a function as a catalyst.

    摘要: Flow rate control valve includes: a target probe formed of a magnetically-responsive substance and mounted to one end of a spool; a sensor housing mounted to the one end of the sleeve and having a cylinder section defining an inner space to permit entry therein of the target probe; and first and second coils provided around the cylinder section and axially spaced from each other by a predetermined distance. The probe is constructed so that magnetic response of the coils gradually varies in one direction in response to a linear position of the target probe. The first coil responds to the target probe, while the second coil does not respond to the target probe. Impedance of the first coil varies with a linear position of the probe (31), and the linear position of the probe is detected through differential synthesis performed between outputs of the first and second coils.
