    摘要： An ingredient mixing apparatus and moisture reduction system for a liquid vending machine which is capable of mixing a predetermined portion of dry ingredient with a liquid and vending the resultant mixture. The ingredient mixing apparatus includes a mixing bowl which has a cylindrical upper portion and conical lower portion with an outlet spout at the bottom. The liquid is injected into the bowl at a tangent so that it swirls about the bowl for mixing. The dry ingredient is dropped into the top of the bowl simultaneously with the liquid injection so that the two mix before leaving the bowl through the bottom. A top cap is provided for the mixing bowl with a depending wall extending adjacent the inner cylindrical surface of a portion of the bowl. A divider wall also supported by the cap extends down into the mixing bowl to divide it into two sections. Suction is provided on the second section to remove steam or vapor and airborne dry ingredient from the bowl. The moisture reduction system includes a series of mixing bowls and a manifold that removes the steam and dry ingredient from the mixing bowls.

    摘要： A method and system in a data processing system for transferring data from a first device to a second device within the data processing system. The data processing system includes a data bus, an address bus, a first address space associated with a memory and a second address space associated with an input/output device. Initially, a transfer signal is transmitted in the data processing system. The transfer signal identifies the transfer as a transfer concerning an address in the second address space associated with the input/output device. A first address package is then transmitted to the second device from the first device on the address bus. The first address package includes a transfer identifier, a first identifier associated with the first device and a second identifier associated with the second device. A second address package, comprising a byte count and an address, are transmitted to the second device from the first device on the address bus. If data is to be transferred, the data is then transferred on the data bus. Finally, a reply signal may be transmitted between the first and second devices, acknowledging the success or failure of the data transfer.

    摘要： A communication interface device, system, method, and design structure for error correcting code (ECC) protected quasi-static bit communication (SBC) on a high-speed bus are provided. The communication interface device includes high-speed sampling logic to capture high-speed data from the high-speed bus using a high-speed sampling clock and SBC sampling logic to capture SBC samples from the high-speed bus using an SBC sampling clock. The SBC sampling clock is slower than the high-speed sampling clock. The communication interface device also includes an SBC finite state machine (FSM) to detect a received SBC command in response to a static pattern persisting for a predetermined number of the SBC samples and command decoding logic to decode the received SBC command.

    摘要： A convection oven having a vapor collection system; water injection system; easily accessible electrical components; and a variable-speed, reversible blower is disclosed. The vapor collection system collects vapor from the cooking chamber during a cooking event, condenses the vapor, and drains the condensed vapor. The water injection system injects water for impact against a blower wheel for dispersion into the air circulating through the cooking chamber. The electrical components are housed within a housing that in a closed position conceals the components and in a closed position exposes the components for easy access. The rotational speed and direction of the variable-speed, reversible blower is controlled during a cooking event according to predetermined speed curves which may include one or more reversal events to achieve more uniform cooking of food. A main controller is programmable via an operator input (e.g., liquid crystal display touch screen) to control operating parameters of the oven.

    摘要： A new electric broiler is disclosed. The broiler includes a housing having a cooking chamber, and a cooking surface in the housing. Upper and lower electrical heat sources are provided in the cooking chamber above and below the cooking surface. The lower heat source includes a removable heating module having an electric heating element and a quick connect/disconnect connector for quick electrical connection and disconnection of the electric heating element to and from a quick connect/disconnect connector on the housing. The broiler also includes a module holder on the housing for holding the removable heating module. The heating module is removable from the holder for quick replacement of the module.
