摘要: A pneumatic tire which uses, as an inner liner layer, a laminated sheet obtained by laminating an air permeation preventing layer, made of any one of a thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing a blend of the thermoplastic resin and an elastomer, and a tie rubber layer, and which has high durability to prevent development of a crack in the tie rubber layer that occurs around a splice portion of the laminated sheet after the tire starts to be used. In the pneumatic tire, a sagged portion is formed by a concavo-convex structure in the air permeation preventing layer at least between points P and Q in a shape that a length La of a straight line connecting points P and Q and a length Lb of the air permeation preventing layer actually passing through points P and Q satisfy a relationship of (1.03×La)≦Lb≦(1.5×La).

In a pneumatic tire comprising an inner liner layer formed from a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer, a tie rubber layer, and a coating rubber layer, the coating rubber layer and the inner liner layer are disposed in a manner such that the coating rubber layer and the inner liner layer overlap each other, and a rubber composition in at least a region of the coating rubber layer where the coating rubber layer and the inner liner layer overlap has an adhesion to the inner liner layer.

摘要: A pneumatic tire uses, as an inner liner layer, a laminated sheet obtained by laminating a tie rubber layer and an air permeation preventing layer made of any one of a thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing a blend of the thermoplastic resin and an elastomer, and has excellent durability making it possible to prevent the tie rubber layer from being cracked around a splice portion of the laminated sheet after the tire starts to be used. The pneumatic tire also can include, in addition to the laminated sheet, a perforated portion penetrating the air permeation preventing layer that is formed within a range of 25 mm, on at least either side in a tire circumferential direction, from a cavity-side end A of a splice portion of the air permeation preventing layer.

摘要: A pneumatic tire in which, in employing as an air-impermeable layer a film formed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer component obtained by blending a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer, separation of the film during tire production is prevented; and a process for producing the same. The pneumatic tire is obtained by disposing a film closer to a tire cavity than a carcass layer, disposing a first rubber layer closer to the tire cavity than the film so as to cover the film, and disposing ends, in the width direction, of the first rubber layer outward of ends, in the width direction, of the film, the film being formed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer.

摘要: Provided is a method of manufacturing an unvulcanized tire, with which formation of air pockets is reduced in adhering a cylindrical film member and an adhesive sheet member to each other by using a forming drum having an expansion/contraction mechanism. In the method, a forming device having a forming drum (1) which has an expandable/contractible outer diameter and a forming roller (2) disposed in parallel to the forming drum (1) is used; a cylindrical film member (3) is wound around the forming drum (1) and the forming roller (2); thereafter, the diameter of the forming drum (1) is expanded whereby the cylindrical film member (3) is tensioned so as to be in close contact with the forming drum (1); and subsequently, an adhesive sheet member (4) is supplied and adhered to an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical film member (3) on the forming roller (2), while the cylindrical film member (3) is being moved in a circumferential direction by rotating the forming drum (1).

摘要: Provided is a pneumatic tire: which has an inner liner layer formed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing a blend of a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer; and which, despite of this, is free from air inclusion in bead parts and is capable of preventing curing failure attributable to the air inclusion. The pneumatic tire of the present invention includes: a carcass layer laid between a pair of bead parts; an inner liner layer disposed at a tire cavity side of the carcass layer; a tie rubber layer interposed between the carcass layer and the inner liner layer; and chafers for protecting the respective bead parts, an end portion on a tire cavity side of each chafer being inserted between the carcass layer and the inner liner layer. In the pneumatic tire, the inner liner layer is formed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing a blend of a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer; and the tie rubber layer is disposed between the inner liner layer and the chafer.

摘要: A brake control device is provided to a wheel equipped with a tire, which has a function of applying a brake force to the wheel to put a brake thereon while adjusting the brake force. In the device, an acceleration sensor outputs acceleration data in a radial direction of the rotating tire, a predetermined detection range is set with respect to the acceleration data, a threshold value is set with respect to a corresponding part of the acceleration data falling within the detection range, the corresponding part of the acceleration data falling within the detection range is specified. Values of the specified acceleration data are compared with the threshold value, and a control signal for causing a braking device to adjust the brake force thereof is output in a case where some values of the acceleration data are larger than the threshold value.

摘要: A pneumatic tire using as an air permeation prevention layer a film consisting of thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending thermoplastic resin with elastomer, wherein the film is prevented form being peeled off to prevent entry of a release agent into the interior and the internal view of the tire is improved. An air permeation prevention layer (10) disposed on the inner side of the tire is constituted of a laminate (14) obtained by layering ribbon-form elastomer layers (12, 13) on the opposite sides of a ribbon-form film (11). The laminate (14) is wound in the tire circumferential direction while being overlapped partially and deviated at specified intervals. Respective adjoining winding portions (14A1, 14A2) of the laminate (14) are joined by being overlapped partially with ribbon-form films (11) kept separated from each other.

摘要: A pneumatic tire and a process for manufacturing the same which enable, in the use of a film of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending an elastomer in a thermoplastic resin as an air permeation preventive layer, formation of the air permeation preventive layer excelling in gas barrier performance, and molding of the tire through a simple molding operation without generating any unnecessary scraps. For the pneumatic tire of the present invention, a cylindrical molded article composed of a film of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending an elastomer in a thermoplastic resin is crushed into a sheet-like laminate; and the sheet-like laminate is used as the air permeation preventive layer. In the manufacturing operation, the sheet-like laminate is wrapped around a making drum so that an unvulcanized tire having the sheet-like laminate as an air permeation preventive layer is molded, and the unvulcanized tire is vulcanized.
