摘要： A lens barrel includes a cam ring which is rotated about an optical axis to move a lens group in the optical axis direction via a cam groove formed on the cam ring, and a rotational ring which transfers a rotational motion to the cam ring. The rotational ring includes a rotation-transmission arm extending in the optical axis direction. The cam ring includes an engaging recess formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cam ring, and in which the rotation-transmission arm is slidably inserted to be movable in the optical axis direction, and an outer flange formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cam ring to form a slot penetrating therethrough in the optical axis direction between the outer flange and a bottom radial surface of the engaging recess so that the rotation-transmission arm is slidably fitted in the engaging recess through the slot.

摘要： A semiconductor package substrate is provided, which can meet the move toward high integration of semiconductors. A nickel layer is plated on an electroplated copper foil to form a wiring pattern. An LSI chip is mounted on the copper foil, and terminals of the LSI chip and the wiring pattern are connected by wire bonding, followed by sealing with a semiconductor-sealing epoxy resin. Only the copper foil is dissolved away with an alkali etchant to expose nickel. With a nickel stripper having low copper-dissolving power, the nickel layer is removed to expose the wiring pattern. A solder resist is coated, and a pattern is formed in such a way that connecting terminal portions are exposed. Solder balls are placed at the exposed portions of the wiring pattern and are then fused. The wiring pattern is connected to an external printed board via the solder balls.

摘要： A focal length detector of a camera having a zoom lens includes a brush having three sliding contacts which are electrically connected to one another; a code plate having three code patterns and a ground pattern, the code plate and the brush being moved relative to each other according to a variation of the focal length of the zoom lens; and a focal-length detecting circuit which is connected to the three code patterns and the ground pattern. The ground pattern always contacts a specific sliding contact of the three sliding contacts. The three code patterns are arranged so that the three code patterns come into contact with the remaining two sliding contacts in predetermined combinations when the code plate and the brush are moved relative to each other.

摘要： A structure which holds a lens by fitting a lens holding member holding a lens into an outer cylindrical member. In the structure, a biasing mechanism is provided to bias the lens holding member, located within the outer cylindrical member, forward or backward in an optical axis direction. A plurality of engaging nails are arranged on one of circumferential surfaces of the lens holding member and the outer cylindrical member at substantially equal angular intervals circumferentially. A plurality of fixing holes arranged on the other of the circumferential surfaces of the lens holding member and the outer cylindrical member at substantially equal angular intervals circumferentially to be respectively engaged with the engaging nails to retain the lens holding member relative to the outer cylindrical member against a biasing force of the biasing mechanism. A tilt correcting plate is selectively mountable between one of the engaging nails and mating one of the fixing hole to tilt an axis of the lens holding member relative to an axis of the outer cylindrical member.

摘要： A camera with lens barrier apparatus in which the lens barrier apparatus is driven by a motor that is also used to drive another mechanical element in the camera. The motor is switched between the lens barrier apparatus and the mechanical element by the movement of a lens barrel. In this arrangement, the driving of the lens barrier apparatus and the mechanical element are controlled in accordance with the output of a single sensor, for example an encoder.The driving of the lens barrier apparatus is controlled such that the barrier will not close unless the lens barrel is at the housed position and such that if the lens barrier does not open, the lens barrel will not move. The driving is further controlled such that if the lens barrier apparatus does not move to its intended state, the drive is reversed prior to again attempting to drive to the intended state.The lens barrier apparatus is mechanically arranged such that barrier blades are nonresiliently driven during a portion of the closing or opening operation and are resiliently driven during the remainder of the closing or opening operation.
