    摘要: A first pictorial communication apparatus for transmitting and receiving a pictorial signal and a sound signal through a first channel and a control message through a second channel, having a line interface for communicating with ISDN, a video codec portion for coding and decoding of the pictorial signal, a key input portion and a camera, further comprises a character storing portion for storing character codes in corporation with the key input portion, a data conversion portion for converting character data train read from the character storing portion into a character video signal. On arrival of a call in an automatic answering mode, the character data train is read and transmitted through the first channel in place of a video signal from the camera after the conversion. The second apparatus has similar structure. A called second apparatus transmits the character code data train included in the control message through the second channel in the automatic answering mode on the arrival of call without the conversion. The called apparatus detects the character code data train from the control message and indicates the character code data train as an answering message after conversion by the data conversion portion.

    摘要: An improved silica-based film-forming composition for diffusion of antimony in the doping works of semiconductors is proposed which comprises an organic solvent, a partial hydrolysis product of an alkoxy silane compound and an antimony compound dissolved in the organic solvent. The antimony compound in the inventive composition is an alkoxy antimony or aryloxy antimony compound so that the problem of corrosion of the coating apparatus can be entirely avoided without decreasing the dopant concentration in the semiconductor substrate, as well as to provide a film-forming composition which is advantageously stable in storage.

    摘要: An airbag device includes an airbag control IC constructed with a control signal generating circuit, a high-side switching element and a low-side switching element. Based on a signal for controlling the low-side switching element, on a signal for controlling a safety switching element and on a check mode signal, the control signal generating circuit adjusts the timing of the signal for controlling the high-side switching element so that the high-side switching element is turned on last. Therefore, the high-side switching element is turned on last. This suppresses the occurrence of an overshoot current.

    摘要: A message processing apparatus which handles messages exchanged over a network and explicitly notifies the recipient of the importance and other information regarding each received message. Incoming messages are received by a receiver employed in the apparatus. Those messages may contain some key information as part of their attribute data, which specifies a handler program relevant to them. A key information extraction unit extracts the key information from each received message. Consulting a table that defines the relationships between handler programs and various key information, a program loading unit then loads a specific handler program relevant to the extracted key information. The recipient may cause an event related to the received message. Depending on what kind of event it is, an execution unit chooses and executes an appropriate primitive process provided as part of the handler program. When, for example, the recipient attempts to delete an unopened message, the apparatus will warn him/her by displaying a warning message on a monitor screen.

A combination of the optimum solution search techniques applied to each of a group of solution candidates varies according to each state. When a search efficiency in a single state is lowered, the problem solving operation apparatus immediately causes a state transition to the next state, thus enabling a search of an optimum solution through the use of another combination of more efficient optimum solution search techniques. Because a state transition constantly maintains a high search efficiency, this problem solving operation apparatus can reach an optimum solution in a short amount of time.
