Abstract: A network slice management method, a management unit, and a system, where the method includes receiving, by a first management unit, a first management request, where the first management request carries requirement information of a network slice or indication information, and the indication information is used to obtain the requirement information of the network slice. The method further includes determining, by the first management unit, requirement information of a subnet that forms the network slice. According to the method, the first management unit can determine the corresponding requirement information of the subnet based on the requirement information of the network slice.

Abstract: This application provides a network slice configuration method, apparatus, and system, and pertains to the field of wireless communications technologies. The method includes: after receiving a management request of a network slice, obtaining or determining, by a network slice manager, network resource information corresponding to a subnet included in the network slice, and then sending, in a form of a subnet management request to a subnet manager, the network resource information corresponding to the subnet, so that the subnet manager configures the corresponding subnet based on the network resource information corresponding to the subnet. In this application, network slice configuration efficiency can be improved.

Abstract: In a NFV resource processing method and a VNFM, a first VNFM sends, without using an NFVO, a first resource request message for requesting a resource to a second VNFM connected to the first VNFM. When a resource of a target VIM connected to the second VNFM meets information about a resource that is applied for, the first VNFM determines, according to a received first feedback message, information about the target VIM that can reserve or allocate the resource that is applied for. A resource management network is formed between the first VNFM and the second VNFM, so that the interconnected VNFMs can perform resource processing. This process does not require participation of the NFVO. Therefore, impact on the network if the NFVO is faulty is avoided, and a distributed resource management manner is implemented.
