    摘要: An optical pickup has a semiconductor laser having two laser sources of different wavelengths disposed in the same package, one diffraction grating and one optical detector. A plurality of light reception areas each having four divisional light reception planes of a -character shape are disposed at positions where light beams reflected from an optical disc are applied. A focus error signal is generated by an astigmatism method by using independently these light reception areas and a tracking error signal is generated by a differential phase detection method by using one or both the light reception areas.

    摘要: In a photosensor apparatus of the type including one dimensional photosensor array in which a plurality of photosensors mounted on a transparent substrate at a predetermined spacing are respectively connected in series with blocking diodes which select outputs of the photosensors. Each one of the photosensors comprises a plurality of laminated amorphous silicon diodes comprising p-i-n junction layers. Each blocking diode comprises at least one amorphous silicon diode having a p-i-n junction layer, and each photosensor generates an electromotive force larger than a forward voltage drop across each blocking diode.

    摘要: An optical beam with the same amplitude distribution and phase distribution as those of the signal beam used for recording is radiated to the hologram recording medium via an optical system of the signal beam prior to reproduction so that the optical beam with the amplitude and phase of the reference beam upon recording is generated through diffraction. A wavefront sensor detects the wavefront configuration of the diffraction beam and obtains preliminarily the suitable wavefront of the reference beam for reproduction. The wavefront control element preliminarily corrects the wavefront of the reference beam to an optimum wavefront.

The open parts of the first receiving portion and the second receiving portion face respectively different directions. A first image combiner unit combines an image D1 of a first link as an odd-numbered image, with an image of a second link, to generate a first combination image. A second image combiner unit combines an image of a second link as an odd-numbered image, with the image of the first link to generate a second combination image. An edge detector unit detects the horizontal edge of the first combination image and the second combination image. A judgment unit compares the number of triple edges in the first combination image and second combination image, and judges the combination image having more triple edges as the error image. The triple edges contain three consecutive edges along the horizontal direction, and the rising edges and falling edges are arrayed alternately.
