Abstract:
A method and apparatus for applying assistance information for traffic steering between a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access network and a non-3GPP access network in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives assistance information for traffic steering through a dedicated signaling from an eNodeB (eNB), and starts a timer upon entering an idle mode. The UE applies the assistance information received through the dedicated signaling until the timer expires. After the timer expires, the UE applies assistance information received through a broadcast signaling.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection for a cell of a terminal and a terminal using the method. The method determines the number of times of failure in RRC connection establishment for the cell and applies a first access class barring (ACB) parameter or a second ACB parameter on the basis of the number of times of the failure, wherein the second ACB parameter is a parameter which increases an access blocking probability for the cell in comparison with the first ACB parameter.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present invention provides a method in which user equipment (UE) selects a network and performs traffic routing. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving first RAN (radio access network) supporting information; receiving second RAN supporting information; and applying the first RAN supporting information or the second RAN supporting information for selecting a network and routing traffic. Here, when the first RAN supporting information has been received by a Home PLMN, if the UE is registered in a visited PLMN, and if the second RAN supporting information is received by the visited PLMN, the second RAN supporting information may be used.
Abstract:
A method for steering traffic performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system and a terminal using the method are provided. The method is characterized by: receiving first system information including a PLMN-ID list on which identities (ID) of a public land mobile network (PLMN) are listed according to a specific order; receiving second system information including RAN auxiliary information related to steering traffic between a first network and a second network; and steering traffic between the first and the second networks based on the first and second system information, wherein the second system information provides RAN auxiliary information for each PLMN, includes the same number of pieces of RAN auxiliary information as the number of PLMNs on the PLMN-ID list, and includes the RAN auxiliary information in the same order as the specific order of the PLMNs on the PLMN-ID list.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for prohibiting autonomous denial in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration for autonomous denial over a first connection from a network, and prohibits the autonomous denial for UL transmission if the UL transmission corresponds to a specific signal.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for a terminal managing a configuration for a device-to-device (D2D) operation in a wireless communication system, and a terminal using the method. The method is characterized by receiving a D2D configuration for a D2D operation from a network, and maintaining the D2D configuration for the D2D operation without releasing same when leaving the radio resource control (RRC) connected state.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for performing a device-to-device (D2D) operation using an exceptional resource by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, and a UE using the method. The method comprises performing D2D communication in one cell of a first cell having a first frequency and a second cell having a second frequency, wherein the first cell is a serving cell of the UE, and whether the exceptional resource provided by the first cell can be used depends on in which cell of the first cell and the second cell the D2D communication is performed.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and a wireless device for reporting proxy information in a wireless communication system. As the wireless device enters the proximity of a first target cell on a target frequency, the wireless device reports first proxy information indicating entering the proximity to a serving cell. Before the wireless device transmits proxy information indicating leaving the proximity after reporting the first proxy information, the wireless device does not report proxy information on entering the proximity of any other target cell on the target frequency.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for evaluating correlation validity between an estimation result and location information performed by a network object in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: obtaining from user equipment the estimation result from a first point in time; obtaining from the user equipment location information from a second point in time; obtaining correlation validity information for determining correlation and evaluating the correlation validity; and performing the correlation validity evaluation on the basis of the correlation for determining whether the location information is highly correlated to the estimation result. When the location information is determined to have a high correlation to the estimation result through the correlation validity evaluation, the location information is used for optimizing network performance. When the location information is determine to have a low correlation to the estimation result through the correlation validity evaluation, the estimation result is used for optimizing network performance.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for reporting by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method logs, within a logged measurement, a log entry comprising a measurement result, wherein the log entry is related to one or more public land mobile networks (PLMN) contained in a minimization driving test (MDT) PLMN list for a logged measurement configuration provided for logging, and the method comprises: acquiring a new PLMN list; determining the validity of the log entry on the basis of the new PLMN list; and reporting the logged measurement report message to a network on the basis of the result of the validity determination.
