摘要: In storing of radioactive wastes by drying, pulverization and pelletizing, radioactive waste pellets are solidified with an alkali silicate solution as a filler, a substance having an action to harden the alkali silicate solution, and a substance having an action to absorb the water formed by the hardening reaction of the alkali silicate solution, or a substance having both actions to harden the alkali silicate solution and to absorb the water formed by the hardening reaction. The solidification can be attained with easy operation and prolonged stability at a low cost.

摘要: A cleaning method of an etched disc filter and the system therefor, in which a plurality of discs having grooved surfaces are assembled or piled one on top of another. This filter is used for removing cruds and the like in a nuclear plant. For separating cruds and the like from small flow passages provided between each two of the discs thus assembled, reverse cleaning is applied, with the discs relieved from an assembled or piled condition for providing clearances among the discs.

摘要: A ladle (100) for a casting apparatus (1) includes a cylindrical melt pouring spout (120) through which a melt (M) is poured from an accommodation portion (110). Protrusions (121, 122) are formed on opposite sides along the inner circumference of the melt pouring spout (120) along the lower side and upper side in the vertical direction of the melt pouring spout (120). The cross sectional area of the protrusions (121, 122) in the axial section of the melt pouring spout (120) gradually increase, while the phase of the protrusions varies gradually in one circumferential direction of the melt pouring spout (120) from the upstream side towards the downstream side in the flow direction of the melt (M). In addition, the protrusions (121, 122) become gradually thinner and curve gradually in the respective phase variation direction towards the inside in the radial direction of the melt pouring spout (120).
