Abstract: An aspect of this disclosure relates to a relay node, and a method of wireless communications by the relay node, including attempting to decode first code block groups of a transport block received in a resource allocation and according to a first encoding configuration. The aspects include identifying a symbol in the resource allocation that includes both of a first part of a successfully decoded one, and a first part of an unsuccessfully decoded one, of the plurality of first code block groups, and determining a modified transmit configuration for the symbol. Further, the aspects include encoding a second part of the successfully decoded one according to the first encoding configuration to define a second code block group that is outside of the symbol. Additionally, the aspects include transmitting the transport block including the one or more second code block groups and the symbol according to the modified transmit configuration.

Abstract: Processes, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device may monitor a wakeup signal monitoring occasion in an inactive duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The communication device may transmit, in a first active duration of the DRX cycle, a channel state information (CSI) report on one or more resources based on monitoring the wakeup signal monitoring occasion. In some examples, the communication device may transmit an indication that the communication device requests reporting of the CSI report in the first active duration of the DRX cycle. The communication device may, in some examples, receive, in a second active duration of the DRX cycle, control information for the UE based on the CSI report.

Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein identify transmission strategies and to communicate those identified transmission strategies in a transparent communication environment. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a new transmission strategy for a downlink channel different from a current transmission strategy for the down link channel. The UE may transmit a channel state information (CSI) message that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the UE. In some examples, a base station may identify the new transmission strategy for the downlink channel. The base station may transmit a codebook subset restriction (CSR) indicator that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the base station. In some examples, the UE may modify its feedback strategy based on the new transmission strategy.

A base station may dynamically cancel and reschedule configured transmission occasions for communicating with a user equipment (UE). The transmission occasions may be configured according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration (e.g., for downlink transmissions) or a configured grant (CG) configuration (e.g., for uplink transmissions). The base station may transmit a dynamic grant to the UE that indicates a cancellation of a transmission occasion and schedules a dynamic transmission occasion for communicating data scheduled for transmission at the canceled transmission occasion. In some examples, the cancellation in the grant may be explicit or implicit.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless sensing. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) measures at least a line-of-sight (LOS) path and a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) path of a first downlink positioning reference signal (DL-PRS) from a first transmission-reception point (TRP), measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a second DL-PRS from a second TRP, measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a third DL-PRS from a third TRP, and enables a location of a non-participating target object to be determined based, at least in part, on reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurements between a time of arrival (ToA) of the LOS path of the first DL-PRS and the ToAs of the NLOS paths of the first, second, and third DL-PRS. In an aspect, the non-participating target object does not participate in determining its own location.

Abstract: Aspects relate to obtaining, at a first scheduled entity, a first priority ranking of first uplink (UL) data scheduled for transmission to a scheduling entity and a first data scheduled for transmission to a second scheduled data, as well as a second priority ranking of second data scheduled for transmission to a third and fourth scheduled entity, respectively. The scheduling uses at least a portion of a sidelink resource reserved for sidelink communication for the transmissions. The scheduling of the transmissions using at least the portion of the sidelink resource are based on the first priority ranking and the second priority ranking. Various transmission cancellation and reception preemptions are transmitted from transmitting scheduled entities to other transmitting or receiving scheduled entities, respectively. Such cancellations and preemptions are based on the priority rankings, prediction of data transmission collisions and prediction of interference at receiving entities.

Abstract: Bits for acknowledgement (ACK) and/or negative acknowledgement (NAK) may be allocated based on whether a special subframe configuration in a TDD configuration permits downlink transmission. For carrier aggregation, ACK/NAK bits may be allocated only to special subframes in component carriers (CCs) which permit downlink transmission. Also, for example, ACK/NAK bits may be allocated to all CC special subframes if a single CC is configured to allow downlink transmission on one of its special subframes.
