Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for managing CAG information. The method includes receiving, by an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), a registration request message from a User Equipment (UE) through a cell for registering to a network. Further, the method includes determining, by the AMF, that the UE is one of unauthorized to the cell when the cell is a CAG cell, and authorized to access the network only through a CAG cell when the cell is a non-CAG cell. Further, the method includes sending, by the AMF, a registration reject message to the UE, where the registration reject message includes a CAG information list.

Embodiments herein provide a method of an Access and Mobility management Function (AMF) controller in a wireless communication network. The method includes receiving, from a Multi Universal SIM User Equipment (MUSIM UE), a NAS request message including an AI request indicating a request for a paging cause in a paging message. Further, the method includes storing the AI request received in the NAS request message. Further, the method includes providing a NAS response message including an AI to the MUSIM UE, wherein the AI indicates whether the paging cause will be provided to the MUSIM UE as part of one of a paging procedure and a NAS notification procedure.-

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A method for handling communication in a wireless network by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes receiving a non-access stratum (NAS) message indicating that the UE is not permitted to access a first public land mobile network (PLMN) over a satellite communication along with geographical indication or a timer indication from the first PLMN. Further, the method includes determining a geographical area based on the received geographical indication or a timer value based on the timer indication. Further, the method includes starting a timer with the timer value. Further, the method includes determining that the UE is not allowed to access the first PLMN in the determined geographical area or the expiry of the timer. Further, the method includes performing a PLMN selection and registration procedure on a second PLMN based on the determination.

Further, the method includes performing one of: aborting the deregistration procedure initiated by the wireless communication network and proceeding with the registration procedure initiated by the UE (100) on determining that the cause value is one of the specific cause value for the deregistration procedure; and aborting the registration procedure initiated by the UE (100) and proceeding with the deregistration procedure initiated by the wireless communication network on determining that the cause value is not one of the specific cause value for the deregistration procedure.-
