    摘要: A display device includes a display panel having an active area in which sub-pixels formed at crossing regions of data lines extending in a first direction and gate lines extending in a second direction crossing the first direction are arranged, and a non-active area outside of the active area. A driver supplies a drive signal to the gate and data lines in the display panel. Data links are extended in the first direction from the driver to supply a data signal to the data lines. Gate links are extended out from the driver and extended up to the active area in the first direction from the non-active area between the driver and the active area so as to supply a gate signal to the gate lines extending in the second direction. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce or minimize the area of the non-active area and/or to improve an aperture ratio.

The biasing section outputs first and second bias currents based on first and second power source voltages. The first differential amplifying section outputs a first amplified voltage based on the first bias current. The second differential amplifying section outputs a second amplified voltage based on the second bias current. The output section outputs the second power source voltage based on the first amplified voltage and the first power source voltage, and outputs the first power source voltage based on the second amplified voltage and the second power source voltage. Therefore, a variation of the threshold voltage is compensated to enhance display quality.

The display device includes a display area having display pixels arranged in a matrix shape, and a dummy area that is formed proximate to an edge of the display area and that has a plurality of dummy pixels. Each dummy pixel includes a first electrode, a second electrode for receiving a common voltage, a liquid crystal layer formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a voltage supplier for supplying the first voltage to the first electrode. By removing a thin film transistor of a dummy pixel and directly applying a common voltage to a pixel electrode, the thin film transistor of the dummy pixel is destroyed when static electricity is introduced from the outside, thereby preventing static electricity from being introduced to the display area.

    摘要: In methods of manufacturing a capacitor and a semiconductor device, a mold layer is formed on a substrate having a contact plug. The mold layer includes an opening exposing the contact plug. A conductive layer is formed on the contact plug, an inner sidewall of the opening and the mold layer. A photoresist pattern is formed to substantially fill the opening. A cylindrical lower electrode is formed by partially removing the conductive layer. The mold layer is selectively removed while the photoresist pattern prevents damage to the lower electrode, the contact plug and the substrate. The photoresist pattern is removed, and then a dielectric layer and an upper electrode are sequentially formed on the lower electrode. Damage to the lower electrode and the contact plug are effectively prevented due to the presence of the photoresist pattern during selective removal of the mold layer.
