    摘要: A wire has a conductor member and an insulation member covering the conductor member. A terminal has a wire connecting portion. The wire connecting portion has a conductor crimp portion for crimping said conductor member and an insulator crimp portion for crimping the insulation member together with the conductor member. The conductor crimp portion comprises a main body and a pair of crimp pieces extending from the main body. The crimp pieces have engaging portions which are electrically connected to the conductor member and engaged with each other when the crimp pieces are crimped.

    摘要: A connecting structure includes a shield wire 1, a ground wire 2, an upper resin tip 15, a lower resin tip 16, and a low-melting welding material 17. First, the ground wire 2 is overlaid on the shield wire 1 in cross. Next, overlapping portions of the shield wire 1 and the ground wire 2 are interposed between the resin tips 15 and 16. By oscillating the resin tips 15 and 16 with ultrasonic waves, respective outside rinds 1d, 2d of the wires 1,2 are removed in the vicinity of the overlapping portions. A braided wire 1c of the wire 1 is electrically connected with a core line 2a of the wire 2 and, simultaneously, the resin tips 15 and 16 are welded to each other to seal up the vicinity of a connecting part S1. With the ultrasonic oscillation, a low-melting materials 17 is molten to flow into the connecting part S1, so that the braided wire 1c of the wire 1 is joined to the core line 2a of the wire 2 through the molten material 17.

    摘要: Two covered wires are conductively connected to each other by overlapping with each other at connection portions. The overlapped connection portions are pinched by a pair of resin chips. By melting cover portions and pressing resin chips from outside, the conductive wire portions of the covered wires are conductively contacted with each other at the connection portions. The pair of the resin chips are melt-fixed to each other to seal the connection portions. A crossing angle .theta. of the two covered wires at the connection portion is set to no less than 45.degree. and greater than 135.degree.. Thus, the covered wires can be conductively connected with each other inexpensively and easily. Further, a connecting state having an excellent electrical characteristic can be obtained stably.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for spot welding a wire to a terminal where the core wires of the wire are not crushed or frayed and where the tensile strength of the connecting portion is improved. In the method of connecting the terminal and wire by spot welding, a concave groove (27a) corresponding to a section of the wire is formed in advance in the top end of a wire-side electrode (27) of spot welding electrodes. An exposed core portion (1a) of the wire is laid on the inner surface of a wire connection portion (13a) of the terminal, a section of which has been worked into a U-shape. While this overlaid portion is held between a terminal-side electrode (25) and the concave groove (27a) of the wire-side electrode (27), a current is supplied thereto under pressure. The apparatus includes the two electrodes including the wire-side electrode having a concave portion in which the wire is received as well as the opposing terminal-side electrode.

A recess is formed at a non-coating part of the crimp terminal where the coating agent is not coated. The coating agent is cured by irradiating light or an electron beam to the first part in a state where a part of the coating agent flowing out from the first part is received in the recess.
