    摘要: A hard film is covered on the outer circumferential surface of a piston ring by means of an arc ion plating. The hard film has a mixture of crystal structure of CrN and crystal structure of Mo.sub.2 N containing oxygen in a solid solution state, and comprises chromium at 40 to 78 percent by weight, molybdenum at 3 to 35 percent by weight, oxygen at 3 to 20 percent by weight and the remainder of nitrogen. The crystal particle size is less than 1 .mu.m. The Vickers hardness is within a range from 1600 to 2500. The film thickness is preferably 1 to 60 .mu.m. Carbon in a solid solution state at 0.5 to 8 percent by weight may be substituted for the oxygen. Alternatively, both oxygen and carbon may be contained in a solid solution state with oxygen at 3 to 20 percent by weight, carbon at 0.5 to 8 percent by weight with the total content of carbon and oxygen within 25 percent by weight.

    摘要: An oxide superconducting multilayered thin film structure having a laminated layer structure of oxide superconductor thin film layers and non-superconductor thin film layers constituted by a combination of material groups for making strain free interfaces among both thin film layers. For example, an oxide superconductor multilayered film constituted by a laminated layer structure where thin films of an oxide superconductor represented by the chemical formula of M'Ba.sub.2 Cu.sub.3 O.sub.7-.delta. (M'; a rare earth element of Nd, Sm, Eu or the like or an alloy of these, .delta.; oxygen depletion amount) and thin films of an oxide represented by the chemical formula of M*Ba.sub.2 Cu.sub.3 O.sub.7-.delta. (M*; an element of Pr, Sc or the like or an alloy of these, .delta.; oxygen depletion amount) are alternately stacked. The oxide thin films are thin films fabricated by a pulsed laser deposition process or a sputtering process. A Josephson device can be provided by using the multilayered film.

    摘要: A mobile communication system comprises a mobile station for transmitting packet data. A number of base stations receive the packet data and produce received packet data, respectively. A mobile exchange simultaneously receives a number of received packet data from the base stations and comprises a data quality decision unit for deciding quality of each received packet data to produce a decision result. The data quality decision unit produces an error detection signal when all the received packet data have the frame error. A data selecting unit selects one received packet data having the best quality of these received packet data according to the decision result and produces it as selected packet data. A packet data reproducing unit carries out a predetermined data reproduction operation to reproduce packet data out of a number of the received packet data and supplies it to the data selecting unit as reproduced packet data. A frame error detecting unit detects whether there is a frame error in the reproduced packet data and supplies, upon detection of the frame error, to the data processing unit a frame error detection signal indicating that there is the frame error in the reproduced packet data. The data selecting unit produces the reproduced packet data as the selected packet data in response to the error detection signal.

    摘要: The present invention is a process to express a target peptide in a large amount and accumulate the target peptide in host cells in the form of inclusion bodies. The process comprises: A) culturing host cells transformed with a plasmid able to express a gene coding for a fusion protein represented in the formula A--L--B, wherein B is a target peptide, A is a protective peptide comprising a 90-210 amino acid fragment E. coli .beta.-galactosidase, and L is a linker peptide positioned between the C-terminus of the protective peptide and the N-terminus of the target peptide and selected so that when the fusion protein is treated by an enzyme or chemical substance, the target peptide is separated, and wherein the protective peptide and linker peptide are selected so that the isoelectric point of the fusion protein in between 4.9 and 6.9; B) obtaining an insoluble fraction comprising inclusion bodies by homogenization of th cultured transformed cells; C) solubilizing the fusion protein in the inclusion bodies by treatment of the insoluble fraction with a solubilizing agent; and, D) cleaving the peptide bond between the C-terminus of the linker peptide and the N-terminus of the target peptide of the solubilized fusion protein to release the target peptide from the other peptides followed by purification of the target peptide.
