摘要: A method of manufacturing an inlayed panel uses the steps of providing an art master rendering as a decorative design for the inlaid panel; entering into a control computer graphical data corresponding to a plurality of laser cutting paths, first laser cutting a panel in accordance with the graphical data; second laser cutting a panel in accordance with the graphical data to produce a plurality of panel portions; and attaching the plurality of panel portions to a substrate to form the decorative panel. One of the plurality of panel portion then is finished. The step of entering graphical data corresponding to the plurality of cutting paths can be performed on a CAD system to produce machine code for controlling the laser beam. The graphical data can be entered, in some embodiments by scanning electronically the art master to form an art master data file.

摘要: A process for making a slab of, e.g., stone, wood, White Granite and the like, decorative element, by sandblasting therein a relatively deep cavity, using a jet of particles having at least hardness 7 that are forced through a resilient PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) mask, which protects the surfaces of the slab that are not intended to be sandblasted. Using the PVC mask allows obtaining a rather deep cavity in the slab without having to frequently replace the mask due to wear, and also allows obtaining cavities with edges that have contour lines that are essentially identical to the contour lines of the windows in the mask. Utilization of PVC masks impart to the cavities conspicuous artistic appearance, thereby beatifying the appearance of the ornamental slab. Then, the slab is made an ornamental slab, by incorporating two and/or three dimensional ornamental elements (e.g., dried flowers, shells of various kinds, clams, cockles, scallops, blue mussels, various colored stones, metal plastic or wood elements, mirrors, pearls, light sources, etc.) into the cavity. Then, the cavities are covered with a covering sheet for protecting the ornamental elements residing therein. The covering sheet is made of a desired material, which may be transparent or semi-transparent, and may have different shapes and colors.

摘要: An informational card is disclosed incorporating a plurality of separable, functional articles that are removable from such card and capable of being applied to a separate article or articles, either independently of, or in conjunction with each other. The removable articles, such as a patch, embroidered emblem, heat transfer or the like, may be removed from the card and adhesively or heat applied to a separate article, with indicia that bears some relation to the information conveyed on the card. One of the removable articles has a cutout to accommodate the placement of a first removable article during the conjunctive application of a series of removable articles to an article separate and distinct from the informational card. The informational card of the present invention functions as a keepsake about a particular topic, and is equipped with removable articles that enhance the value of the card by providing the owner with the ability to create additional keepsakes capable of being worn or otherwise displayed separate and apart from the informational card.

摘要: A decorative molding/casing for use in decorating a room or furniture as disclosed. The decorative molding/casing in general has a routed or lazered front surface establishing a front face section. The rear surface of the molding/casing is preferably milled to create a longitudinal groove which establishes a first interior surface and a pair of symmetric support sections. Any desired artistic design cutouts may then be routed or lazered through the front face section and through the first interior surface into the longitudinal groove. A filler material is then colored or selected. The filler material may then be positioned within the longitudinal groove between the pair of symmetric support sections. The colored surface of the filler material may then be positioned proximate to the first interior surface where the filler material may be secured to the first interior surface by any preferred means as desired by an individual. The colored surface of the filler material then functions as an accent for the decorative molding/casing which may be used as a border or other decorative accent feature within a room or upon furniture or picture frames.

摘要: A process of making self-adhesive decorative stickers includes the steps of adhering double-sided adhesive papers to upper and lower layers of a non-malleable sheet of paper; using a mold to punch out main members of different shapes; punching upper-layer paper blank of the main members to form corresponding cutting lines; after tearing off corresponding upper paper blank for adhering decorative articles to the upper adhesive paper, tearing off the remaining upper-layer paper blank outside of the corresponding positions; and sprinkling tinsel powders evenly on the portion outside of the decorative articles and securing the decorative articles using a bonding glue so as to form a decorative sticker. After tearing off the lower-layer paper blank, the decorative sticker can be adhered to a user's body, a planar pattern, an object, etc., for decorative purposes.

摘要: A clad member is made up of a plate-like clad base material having on its surface a recessed portion, and solidified portions of a metallic material which is different in kind from the clad base material. The solidified portions are disposed in the recessed portion at a distance from each other and are bonded with the clad base material through melting. The clad member is manufactured by forming an elongated recessed portion on a surface of a plate-like clad base material. The recessed portion is filled with a comminuted metallic material which is different in kind from the clad base material. A laser beam is irradiated onto a plurality of regions which are separated from each other in a longitudinal direction of the recessed portion such that partly melted portions of the comminuted metallic material are generated to thereby bond the comminuted metallic material with the clad base material. The melted portions are solidified. The remaining non-molten portions of the comminuted metallic material are removed.

摘要: A children's stuffed-art craft set includes a background board having two-dimensional graphics on a face surface with openings of various shapes forming elements of the graphics extending through the board to the opposite surface. Backing pieces, and relatively soft, stuffing pieces which are readily compressible compared to the background board and backing pieces, are shaped to fit into background board openings. Pieces of fabric or other material, larger than the openings and of various colors, patterns and textures are also supplied. A selected fabric piece is placed over the conforming stuffing and backing pieces and then inserted through the opening in the backing board from the opposite surface. The thickness of the extra fabric is wedged between the opening and the conforming backing piece to stretch the fabric, compress the stuffing and secure the combination in place creating a soft relief element of the picture or design following the two-dimensional graphics on the face of the background board.

摘要: The specification describes an improved gaming token which includes, among other features, a relatively flat non-metallic annular ring having injection-molded indicia thereon bounded by sharp and durable color lines. This ring also includes an inner coin-support annulus which extends into a central opening of the ring and receives flat back-to-back metal slugs or discs on each surface thereof to retain these discs permanently in place once they are welded together. Since the outer coin surfaces are flush with the major surfaces of the flat non-metallic annular ring, this construction renders removal of the metal coins quite difficult. In one embodiment of the invention, this coin-support annulus is integral with a single unitary plastic annular ring which includes regions of injection-molded indicia thereon which are flush with both major and minor surfaces of the ring and are bounded by the sharp and durable color lines as noted above.

摘要: A three-dimensional, ornamental product is made by cutting a two-dimensional design out of a planar laminate and abrading the design into the final three-dimensional shape of the product, thereby exposing the different layers of the laminate in an exterior surface pattern. The laminate is formed from multi-colored sheets of paper.
