Abstract: A drinking container having a stainless steel inner wall having an inner surface and an outer surface and a stainless steel outer wall having an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein a gap is formed between the outer surface of the inner wall and the inner surface of the outer wall and wherein a vacuum is pulled in the gap, wherein the outer surface of the outer wall is coated with a ceramic-like sol-gel coating as an outer coating. The drinking container may also include a lower bushing placed along a top side of the bottom surface of the inner wall, a ceramic insert placed over the lower bushing, an upper bushing placed over a top edge of the ceramic insert and a collar locked on one of the inner wall, the outer wall, or a combination thereof, the collar positioned over the upper bushing.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method and a corresponding apparatus for coating open-pored bodies with at least one coating suspension. In particular, the coating suspension has solids and solutes in a liquid medium in a quantity in wet state which is to correspond to at least a required target quantity. The coating operation has a variation in the applied wet coating quantity from one body to the other. The method according to the invention is characterized by the steps of: coating the body with an actual quantity of the coating suspension, which is always larger than the required target quantity taking the variation of the coating operation into account, determining the difference between the actual quantity and the required target quantity, and reducing the difference between actual quantity and target quantity by removing still wet coating suspension.

Abstract: An apparatus (9) for plasma treating multiple containers. The apparatus includes a manifold (2) comprising at least a first chamber with multiple outlet openings and multiple hollow, electrically-conductive nozzles (10) for at least one of delivering or exhausting plasma-generating gas. The multiple hollow, electrically-conductive nozzles are connected to the multiple outlet openings and protrude from the manifold. A method of plasma treating multiple containers is also disclosed. The method includes providing a reactor system comprising an apparatus disclosed herein, inserting the multiple hollow, electrically-conductive nozzles into the multiple containers (30), evacuating the multiple containers, grounding the multiple hollow, electrically-conductive nozzles while applying radio frequency power to the multiple containers, providing a gas inside the containers, and generating a plasma. At least one of evacuating or providing the gas is carried out through the hollow, electrically-conductive nozzles.
