    摘要: A joystick assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a retaining plate that has a bore through a central axis. Four microswitches are secured to the retaining plate around the bore. The microswitches each have a switch element facing towards the central axis. A housing is secured to the retaining plate wherein the bore on the retaining plate and the bore on the housing are aligned. A joystick with a shaft is received into the bore on the housing and is configured and arranged to selectively activate the switch elements of the microswitches when deflected.

Each terminal 30 is firmly fixed between the end surface of a spacer 52 fitted on the bolt 50 and a mount base 24 by a fastening force of the bolt 50, and each fixed electrode 40 is pressed against the terminal 30 by an elastic force of a spring washer 52 fitted around the spacer 51 and is mounted such that it can be inclined by deforming the spring washer 52 by a remaining deformation margin. Accordingly, when the fixed electrode 40 is pushed by the movable electrode 44, the inclinations of the fixed electrodes 40 are automatically adjusted to reduce a sliding resistance which acts between the movable electrode 44 and the fixed electrode 40, thereby facilitating the switching operation.

    摘要: A molded article is formed by an injection molding method of embedding a workpiece within a resin by the use of a mold. The mold has a mold cavity, at least one supporting pin removably projecting into the mold cavity to support the workpiece in the mold cavity, and at least one gate for injecting the resin into the mold cavity. The supporting pin is forced against the workpiece to support the workpiece within the molded cavity. The resin is injected into the molded cavity through the gate. In the present method, the supporting pin is removed from the mold cavity after the workpiece is supported by pressure of the resin injected in the mold cavity. The injection of the resin is continued to fill a hole left in the mold cavity by removal of the supporting pin. After the injection is finished, the injected resin is hardened to obtain the molded article. This method is useful for integrally molding a conductive member with an electrically insulating resin to form a component of an electrical device, for example, a base plate or cover plate of an electrical rotary switch for detecting positions of an automatic transmission of an automobile.

    摘要: A power switch control module for a power window control circuit of a motor vehicle. The control module incorporates a printed circuit board, a plurality of switch contacts secured to the printed circuit board, a plurality of connector terminals also secured to the printed circuit board, a plurality of high current traces formed on an upper surface of the printed circuit board for coupling selected pairs of the switch contacts and connector terminals electrically together, and a switch control. The switch control is mounted in a frame member for pivotal movement relative to the printed circuit board and is movable between up and down positions. When in the up position the switch control electrically couples a first selected pair of switch contacts and when in the down position the switch control electrically couples a second selected pair of the switch contacts. The high current traces are capable of handling about 20-80 amps of current. Since the high current traces are formed on the upper surface of the printed circuit board, no injection molding, tooling or techniques are required for construction of the module as typically required with prior art control modules. Also, the undersurface of the printed circuit board can advantageously be used to mount other electronic components of the control circuit.
