    摘要: Systems and methods for providing a structural adhesive film that includes a conductive scrim layer are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for producing a structural adhesive film includes providing a first resin adhesive layer. The first resin adhesive layer is configured to bind to a first carbon fiber ply. The method also includes providing a second resin adhesive layer. The second adhesive layer is configured to bind to a second carbon fiber ply. The method also includes providing a conductive scrim that is embedded between the first resin adhesive layer and the second resin adhesive layer. In some embodiments, the conductive scrim is infused with resin adhesive.

    摘要: High performance proprietary cementitious concretes or mortars developed for use as patch repair materials for corrosion damaged concrete often have high resistivities that inhibit the performance of sacrificial anodes located within the patch repair areas. A method of repair is disclosed which comprises removing the corrosion damaged concrete to form a cavity to receive a concrete repair material and forming within this cavity a smaller distinct cavity for assembling a sacrificial anode assembly and placing within this second cavity a pliable viscous ionically conductive backfill and a sacrificial anode and an activating agent to form a sacrificial anode assembly and connecting the anode to the steel and covering the anode and the backfill in the second cavity with a repair material to restore the profile of the concrete structure. In this arrangement a high resistivity repair material promotes the flow of protection current to steel in adjacent contaminated concrete that is at risk of corrosion.

    摘要: A temporary mobility kit directed to a release arrangement for selectively releasing a sealant bottle from the base of the kit is provided. The temporary mobility kit includes a removable sealant bottle and a kit base. A recessed release button is provided in the kit base. The release button is part of a slidable retaining member which is slidably fitted to a snap-in ring assembly. The snap-in ring assembly is fitted to the kit base. An oval-shaped opening is defined in the slidable retaining member. Resilient members are provided to resist movement of the slidable retaining member. The sealant bottle has a base on which a locking collar is formed. The locking collar can be passed through the oval-shaped opening of the slidable retaining member and is locked into position therewith. The slidable retaining member is ordinarily in a locked or retaining position to hold the sealant bottle in place. A release tool is provided for manipulation of the recessed release button. When the release tool is pressed against the recessed release button, the slidable retaining member is moved from its locking position to its unlocking position, and the sealant bottle is released therefrom.

    摘要: A tire treatment composition including a solid material suspended in a liquid carrier. The solid material consists of at least one ceramic fiber component and a blend of polymeric fibers. The polymeric fibers include various mixtures of polyethylene and/or polypropylene, polyester, polymeric acrylic, and nylon. The solid material may also include a cellulosic fiber. The liquid carrier includes a solution of water and at least one glycol such as ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol, triethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, or tetraethylene glycol. The liquid carrier may also include additive agents such as antimicrobial agents, anti-corrosion agents, thickening agents, buffering agents, and adjuvant agents. The tire treatment composition of the present invention is suitable for use with a tire pressure management system or with nitrogen tire pressure systems and is supplied in a volume sufficient in a unit for treatment of the tires of a vehicle.
