摘要： Die-cuttable and printable adhesive containing labelstocks for use in preparing die cut adhesive labels, and methods of preparing the labelstocks and die cut labels are described. The labelstocks comprise extruded machine direction oriented monolayer or multilayer films and an adhesive layer. The monolayer films comprise a mixture of about 25% to 80% by weight of a propylene polymer or copolymer, and from about 20% to about 75% by weight of a polyethylene. The films are stretch oriented in the machine direction at a temperature at about or above the melting temperature of the polyethylenes.

摘要： An apparatus for inflating and sealing packing cushions has a drive mechanism for feeding a preconfigured film material to a sealing mechanism in a flattened state without wrinkles in the sealing region in which a longitudinal seal is formed. A feed mechanism includes a drive mechanism for advancing the film along a path, a first guide member which contacts a first surface of the film material in a first longitudinal region, and a second guide member which contacts the first surface of the film material in a second longitudinal region laterally offset from and parallel to the first longitudinal region. In some embodiments, the first and second guide members are adjacent belts. In other embodiments, the first and second guide members are stationary guide members or “skis.” The sealing mechanism may include a rotary sealing element and opposed backing element, such as a belt or a wheel.

摘要： The invention concerns a biaxially orientated, single- or multi-layered porous film which comprises at least one porous layer and this layer contains at least one propylene polymer and polyethylene; (i) the porosity of the porous film is 30% to 80%; and (ii) the permeability of the porous film is 6000 s when it is heated for 5 minutes to over 140° C. The coated, porous film has dual safety features. Furthermore, the invention also concerns a process for the production of a film of this type as well as its use in high energy or high performance systems, in particular in lithium, lithium ion, lithium-polymer and alkaline-earth batteries.
