摘要: A metal-ion deposition regulator to regulate the flux and deposition of metal ions in an electrochemical cell. The regulator containing two membranes made of a polymer and a plurality of two-dimensional porous nanosheets sandwiched between the two membranes. The regulator is capable of distributing flux of metal ions passing through the metal-ion deposition regulator and regulating the deposition of the metal ions onto the cathode or anode thereby suppressing dendrite growth in the electrochemical cell. An electrochemical cell containing an anode, a cathode, a liquid electrolyte, and a metal-ion deposition regulator. A method of making a metal-ion deposition regulator. The method includes fabricating two-dimensional porous nanosheets utilizing graphene oxide as an expendable template, and sandwiching the porous nanosheets between two membranes made of a polymer such that the nanosheets are in contact with the two membranes.

摘要: Provided is a composition capable of forming an easy-drying coating on an application surface in a paint, an ink, and an adhesive which mainly contain polymers, or a coating liquid for a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and the like of a lithium-ion secondary battery. The coating composition containing a filler, a binder, a thickener, and a solvent, wherein the binder is at least one selected from a diene rubber and a (meth)acrylate polymer; a viscosity of the coating composition is 1.0×106 Pa·s or less as measured at a shear rate of 0.01/s; and the following thixotropy index (TI) is 1.1×106 or more: [thixotropy index (TI)]=[viscosity of the coating composition as measured at a shear rate of 0.01/s]/[viscosity of the coating composition as measured at a shear rate of 10000/s].

摘要: A jelly-roll type electrode assembly includes an electrode plate and a separation layer disposed on at least one surface of the electrode plate. A bonding force of the separation layer to a surface of the electrode plate in a first region of the jelly-roll type electrode assembly is greater than a bonding force of the separation layer to the surface of the electrode plate in a second region of the jelly-roll type electrode assembly. In this way, the bonding force of the separation layer to the surface of the electrode plate in the first region in the jelly-roll type electrode assembly is relatively high. When the electrode plate in the second region is stressed, a slight slip can occur between layers to release the stress, alleviating deformation of the electrochemical device caused by stress concentration.

摘要: A separator for an electrochemical device, where the separator includes a semi-crystalline and/or amorphous polymer, such as polyvinyl acetate and polyethylene-co-vinyl acetate, as a binder polymer of an inorganic coating layer. The surfaces of the inorganic particles are at least partially coated with a coupling agent. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the inorganic particles from being detached from the inorganic coating layer. In addition, phase separation is accelerated under a humidified condition in manufacturing the separator so that the surface of the separator may be provided with an adhesive portion in which a large amount of binder polymer is distributed. As a result, the separator may have improved binding force to an electrode.

The lithium ion secondary battery is characterized in that the positive electrode includes: a positive electrode foil; a positive electrode active material layer formed on a surface of the positive electrode foil; and a positive electrode insulating layer formed on a surface of the positive electrode active material layer, in which the positive electrode active material layer includes a positive electrode active material and a first nonaqueous binder, and the positive electrode insulating layer includes an inorganic filler, a second nonaqueous binder, and a dispersant.

The separator has a high tensile strength and an elongation at break and good heat resistance, and may improve the safety performance of the energy storage device when the separator is applied to the energy storage device.
