摘要: Protective reinforcement (3) for a tire has mean radial thickness T at least equal to two times diameter D of reinforcer (4), and comprises respectively on its radially interior face (31) and on its radially exterior face (32) parts (7) made of elastomeric compound having axial width W at least equal to diameter D of reinforcer (4). The path of any reinforcer (4), in circumferential direction (XX′), varies radially between radially interior first face (31) and radially exterior second face (32), in such a way that the set of paths of reinforcers (4) of protective reinforcement (3) constitutes a three-dimensional lattice. Furthermore, protective reinforcement (3) comprises a first family of reinforcers (41) each having a path, in the circumferential direction (XX′), contained in circumferential plane (XZ) and a second family of reinforcers (42) each having a path, in the circumferential direction (XX′), that follows a zigzag curve.

摘要: An apparatus and a process for manufacturing a three-dimensional object by successive layer-by-layer consolidation of selected zones of a powder stratum, the consolidated zones corresponding to successive sections of the three-dimensional object, each layer being divided into a central internal portion and an external border, said process comprising the following steps in order: a—depositing a powder layer on a holder; b—fusing the external border of said powder layer by means of a laser beam originating from a first energy source by moving the laser beam of said first energy source relative to the object along a preset path that follows the contour of said external border corresponding to the contour of the cross section of the object so as to selectively fuse said layer; and c—fusing the central internal portion of the powder layer by means of an electron beam originating from a second energy source, by moving the electron beam of said second energy source relative to the object so as to sweep it over said central internal portion along a preset path corresponding to the central internal portion of the cross section of the object so as to selectively fuse said layer; or d—repeating steps a and b N times so as to form a plurality of superposed layers of fused material forming a portion of the external border of said object and then carrying out step c so as to fuse the central internal portion of the object corresponding to the N powder layers; and e—repeating steps a to c or a, b and d until all the layers of the object have been consolidated.

摘要: A system for measuring a moisture content of an ion-exchange membrane in a fuel-cell stack is provided. The fuel-cell stack includes N electrochemical cells separated by bipolar plates, with N being a natural integer. The system includes a current generator, a voltage measurement device, and an impedance measurement device. The current generator enables a current to be applied to the fuel-cell stack. The voltage measurement device measures voltages of the cells of the fuel-cell stack. The impedance measurement device determines an impedance of an ion-exchange membrane according to a voltage ripple measured by the voltage measurement device across terminals of a corresponding one of the cells of the fuel-cell stack when the current is applied by the current generator. The impedance measurement device is installed in the voltage measurement device.

摘要: A system for wheel alignment provides an indexable pair of washers in conjunction with a sleeve having non-concentric inner and outer surfaces that allow for adjustments to camber, toe, and thrust. The system can be retrofitted to existing axle systems using a sleeve that fits over the spindle of the axle. Rotation of the sleeve relative to the spindle provides for adjustment to wheel alignment. The indexable washers can be used to determine the precise amount of adjustment and fix the position of the sleeve once adjusted. The system can be implemented regardless of the circumferential position (i.e. azimuthal orientation) of a keyway or groove on the axle spindle that is typically used to lock the position of the axle nut.
