The positive-electrode mixture layers formed on the positive plate each have a larger porosity than the negative-electrode mixture layers formed on the negative plate. A more refractory porous layer 1 than the separator is formed between the negative plate and the separator. The porous layer is made of a material for retaining an electrolyte.

By forming the sealing body in the region excluding the optical path, the light usage efficiency can be prevented from decreasing even when a material that can increase the environmental resistance is added to the sealing body. Further, since the optical element is mounted on the lead frame with its face down, the sealing structure can be easily formed even when the optical element is small-sized.

A lens-shutter coupling unit having a coupling structure of a lens shutter and a shutter unit capable of miniaturization and high-precision arrangement of a lens group, is provided. A shutter driving part for moving shutter blades and a filter driving part for moving an ND filter are disposed near an outer periphery of a protruding part of a lens group that protrudes from a barrel. The shutter driving part and the filter driving part can be disposed in a position (inner periphery) near an optical axis of the lens group. The center of rotation of the shutter blades and the ND filter can also be disposed near the optical axis of the lens group, and the shutter blades and the ND filter can be reduced in size. As a result, since the space at the time of retreat can be reduced, the shutter unit can be reduced in size.

The method also includes, subsequently moving the organic insulating film toward the irradiated region of the laser beam, and terminating the irradiation with the laser beam when the end part of the target part coincides with the moving end part of the laser beam. This enables the resultant processed target surface to be smooth and free from reaction product including decomposed segments of the target body. Also featured is an optical component including an optical element having a surface that is processed according to the processing methods of the present invention.
