摘要： A technique that makes it possible to suppress a crystal defect produced in an active area and thereby reduce the fraction defective of semiconductor devices is provided. A first embodiment relates to the planar configuration of SRAM. One of the features of the first embodiment is as illustrated in FIG. 4. That is, on the precondition that the active areas in n-channel MISFET formation regions are all configured in the isolated structure: the width of the terminal sections is made larger than the width of the central parts of the active areas. For example, the terminal sections are formed in an L shape.

摘要： A 3G authentication apparatus includes: a WLAN communication section which receives a notification of reception of a connection request sent from a WLAN access network in response to the connection request from a mobile unit to connect to a WLAN capable of interworking with a mobile network; a communication section for obtaining, from a user information storing device, information indicating a service available in the mobile communication network to the mobile unit that has sent the connection request, on the basis of the notification of reception of the connection request; and a filter setting section which generates filter information by associating a user authentication ID identifying a mobile unit with an IP address obtained at the communication section. The filter information generated by the filter setting section is sent to the WLAN access network through the WLAN communication section. Thus, traffic in a network such as a WLAN in an interworking system between networks such as a mobile communication network and a WLAN can be reduced.

摘要： An automotive alternator according to the present invention includes a rotary shaft, slip rings, a brush holder, brushes, a cover, a seal member, a cooling air flow path, and a water shield. The slip rings are fixed to an end portion of the rotary shaft. The brushes are accommodated in the brush holder and so held by the brush holder as to establish sliding contacts with the slip rings to excite the automotive alternator. The cover covers the end portion of the rotary shaft, the slip rings, the brush holder, and the brushes. The seal member is interposed between the brush holder and the cover. The cooling air flow path is formed between the seal member and one of the brush holder and the cover to supply cooling air to the brushes. The water shield works to prevent water from entering into an entrance of the cooling air flow path.

The stator includes a stator core, which forms a plurality of slots extending in an axial direction of the stator core, and a stator winding wound around the stator core. The stator winding includes electric conductors held in the slots. Each of the electric conductors has a circumferential width that is smaller than a circumferential distance between a first wall and a second wall defining the slot. The first wall and the second wall oppose each other in a circumferential direction. The electric conductors are alternately in contact with one of the first wall and the second wall.

The insulating film formed under an intersection area of the connection portion and the impurity region has a thickness larger than the insulating film formed under the first and second assist gates. A non-volatile semiconductor memory device capable of ensuring a writing speed as well as reliability can thus be obtained.

The stator coil is constructed of a plurality of electric conductors. Each electric conductor has insert portions located in the slot and a connecting portion connecting the insert portions axially outside of the stator core. The connecting portion has a first curve portion and a second curve portion. The first curve portion is located adjacent to an outer diameter of the stator core and the second curve portion is located adjacent to an inner diameter of the stator core. The first curve portion has curvature larger than that of the second curve portion.

摘要： In a stator of a vehicle rotary electric machine, a stator winding includes U-shaped conductor segments having a pair of straight portions disposed in a pair of slots spaced apart at a fixed pitch in layers. Each U-shaped conductor segment has a generally rectangular cross section and a width to fit the slot. The U-shaped conductor segments are formed of large size U-shaped conductor segments and small size U-shaped conductor segments, and each of the large size U-shaped conductor segments has a pair of straight portions disposed at radially opposite ends of the layers and have corners whose radius is larger than corners of the small size U-shaped conductor segments. Therefore, it is easy to form rounded corners at portions of the stator winding thereby to provide uniform insulation coating at surfaces of the stator winding exposed to foreign particles.
