摘要： A cast screw rotor has an opened lightening or reduced weight hole formed inside each thread portion. The opened hole is formed along torsion of the thread portion, and a shaft is inserted into an axial hole. The screw rotor is manufactured by a method in which each of the thread portions and the axial hole are formed on the basis of the reduced weight hole.

摘要： There is provided a new antiviral antibiotic designated herein as BU-4344V which is produced by fermentation of a BU-4344V-producing strain of a new microorganism, Actinomadura parvosata subsp. kistnae ATCC No. 55076. Antibiotic BU-4344V is recovered and purified from the fermentation broth by use of extraction, chromatography, and crystallization techniques. BU-4344V has been found to have some antibacterial activity and inhibits the growth of viruses, including influenza virus type A.

摘要： Provided is a semiconductor device capable of preventing a semiconductor chip from being damaged by any sharp burrs of a metallic shielding plate. The semiconductor device includes a semiconductor chip and a metallic shielding plate provided on a circuit surface of the semiconductor chip. The metallic shielding plate is disposed in such a manner that a second surface of a shielding plate body is directed towards the circuit surface of the semiconductor chip, and burrs are positioned contiguous to the second surface of the shielding plate body. At distal ends of the burrs, cutting burrs are formed in a direction orthogonal to the second surface. The sharp burrs extend in a direction opposite to the semiconductor chip, so that the sharp burrs are prevented from damaging the circuit surface of the semiconductor chip.

摘要： An adhesive composition for a polarizing plate which has excellent optical properties and durability, is capable of relaxing stress caused by dimensional changes of the polarizing plate or the like and is capable of suppressing light leakage and ununiformity of color. A polarizing plate having an adhesive layer composed of the adhesive composition is also disclosed. The adhesive composition for a polarizing plate includes an acrylic copolymer (A), which contains, as monomer components, (a1) a (meth)acrylic ester in an amount of 10 to 79.9% by weight, (a2) a benzene ring-containing compound in an amount of 20 to 80% by weight and (a3) a functional group-containing compound in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by weight and has a benzene ring content of not less than 10% by weight and a weight-average molecular weight of 800,000 to 2,000,000, a crosslinking agent (B) in an amount 0.01 to 0.3 part by weight, and a silane coupling agent (C) in an amount of 0.01 to 0.5 part by weight, the amounts of said components (B) and (C) being each based on 100 parts by weight of the acrylic copolymer (A).
