摘要: A printer has a record unit including a record in the form of an endless belt which moves in one direction, a charger for charging the record, an exposure unit for forming an electrostatic latent image on the charged record, a developing unit for converting the latent image into a visual image, a sheet feeder for feeding a record sheet from a stack, as separated one by one, and feeding it into close contact with the record which carries the visual image, a transfer unit for transferring the visual image from the record onto the record sheet, a fixing unit for fixing the transferred visual image on the record sheet, and a delivery unit of delivering the fixed record sheet out of the printer. As a characteristic of the invention, the record unit and the developer unit are detachably mounted together and capable of being slid out of the printer for servicing. The other elements of the printer are disposed around the record unit in a generally U-shaped configuration, so that the record/developer unit can be slid into or out of the hollow portion defined by the U-shaped configuration.

摘要: An accelerator pedal apparatus includes a torque motor which generates operational reaction force corresponding to operation of an accelerator pedal, an accelerator pedal position sensor (APS) which detects an accelerator opening rate of an accelerator pedal and outputs the accelerator opening rate to an engine control unit (ECU) being an upper device, and a control unit which applies the operational reaction force as controlling driving of the torque motor. The control unit applies the operational reaction force as controlling driving of the torque motor based on the accelerator opening rate when being commanded to apply the operational reaction force by the ECU.

摘要: A wireless communication system includes: wireless IC chips used for identifying objects; a transceiver for transmitting and receiving information to/from the wireless IC chips by radio waves; and a radio wave direction unit for directing the traveling directions of the radio waves from the transceiver toward the wireless IC chips. The radio wave direction unit is arranged such that the radio wave reflecting surface can be developed to face a collection space where the wireless IC chips are collected. A part of the radio waves radiated from the transceiver travels stereoscopically toward the collection space S by an action of the radio wave reflecting surface.

摘要: In a solenoid driving device of the type in which energy stored in a capacitor is used for re-driving of the solenoid, the generation of heat in a current back-flow preventing circuit preventing the back-flow of current to a power supply terminal is suppressed, and the generation of heat in a rectifying element through which the current that flows to the capacitor passes is suppressed. Electric power accumulated in the solenoid when the driving of the solenoid is stopped is temporarily stored in the capacitor, and a high voltage that is generated by the charging utilizing the peak voltage of the capacitor is utilized as the power supply for a discharge control circuit that controls the discharge of the capacitor. The current back-flow preventing circuit is constructed from a switching element such as an FET so that the generation of heat in this circuit is suppressed. Furthermore, the rectifying element through which the current that flows to the capacitor passes is constructed from a switching element such as an FET so that the generation of heat in this element is suppressed.

摘要: The present invention achieves an increase in the amount of vapor that is expelled, stabilized fuel injection and improved starting characteristics in a fuel injection pump. In an electromagnetically driven fuel injection pump 20 which allows fuel to escape into the return passage 5 in the initial region of the pressure-feeding stroke of the plunger 21, and which pressure-feeds fuel into the injection port 33 in the later region of the pressure-feeding stroke, pulse powering of the coil 23 that does not lead to the injection of fuel, i.e., pulse powering which is such that the plunger 21 performs a reciprocating motion through the initial region, is performed when the engine 2 is in an idle operating state, or in a state in which the engine 2 is re-started after being stopped immediately following high-load operation. As a result, vapor can be expelled with good efficiency, and the flow rate of the circulated fuel is increased so that the cooling effect is also increased, thus causing the generation of vapor to be suppressed as well, so that the starting characteristics or re-starting characteristics are improved.
