    摘要: A resistor built-in spark plug comprising an insulator formed therein with an axially extending bore, a terminal nut fitted in an upper end portion of the bore, a center electrode fitted in a lower end portion of the bore, a resistor arranged in a central portion of the bore, one copper-glass electrode interposed between the resistor and the terminal nut, and another copper-glass electrode interposed between the resistor and the center electrode, such resistor being made by firing (calcining) and solidifying a resistor powder mixture consisting of 30 to 10 volume % of a principal resistor component containing tin oxide, 35 to 85 volume % of insulating ceramic filler powder of a higher electric resistivity than the principal resistor component which is selected from the group consisting of quartz glass, alumina, zircon, zirconia, silica (SiO.sub.2) and .beta.-spodumene, and 35 to 5 volume % of glass powder having a softening temperature in a range between 300.degree. and 600.degree. C. One or both of the two copper-glass electrodes may consist of two electrode layers, one copper-glass layer maintained in contact wth the resistor and having a higher copper content than the other copper-glass electrode layer.

    摘要: The swinging operation of a rotary striker 14 turns micro switches 11 and 12, which detect the position of a piston 9, ON/OFF. The striker 14 includes a lower-limit switch cam 15 and an upper-limit switch cam 16. The cams 15 and 16 engage with switch bosses 36 and 37 that move together with the piston 9. When the piston 9 is positioned at a lower-limit stop position L, the cam 15 becomes engaged with the boss 36 to make the striker 14 swing in the X-direction and pushes a switch button 11a of the switch 11. When the piston 9 is positioned at an upper-limit stop position U, the cam 16 becomes engaged with the boss 37 to make the striker 14 swing in the Y-direction and pushes a switch button 12a of the switch 12.

    摘要: A charge-injected internal combustion engine exhibits improved starting performance with charge-injection timing control. A charge-injected internal combustion engine has an air-fuel injection valve for directly injecting a compressed air-fuel mixture into a combustion chamber. The engine is also provided with an air pump, driven by the crankshaft for discharging compressed air, and a timing controller for setting injection timing of the air-fuel injection valve. When initial startup of the engine is detected, the controller sets the injection timing to the intake stroke. When the engine reaches a predetermined engine speed, or when the pressure of the injection air reaches a threshold pressure where injection of the air-fuel mixture is possible on the compression stroke, the timing controller switches the injection timing from the intake stroke to the compression stroke.

    摘要: In SDH-based transmission systems with redundancy, in the event of failure in the service transmission lines, before the service traffic communication path set in the service transmission lines is switched to the protection transmission lines, if there is a communication path for sub traffic set in the protection transmission lines, the AU-AIS signal is inserted at the exit to lower-tier terminals to terminate the sub traffic communication path. Unless there is a communication path set for sub traffic in the protection transmission lines, the UNEQ signal is inserted at the exit to lower-tier terminals which are substantially connected to the protection transmission lines to terminate the sub traffic communication path. Later, the service traffic communication path is switched to the protection transmission lines. Then a misconnect during redundancy lines switching is prevented and the possibility of leak of the service traffic transmission information is eliminated.
