An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an ECG memory storing ECG signals based on motion of a heart of a living body, an ECG A/D converter, and an elasticity image generating section. Upon receiving timing signals from a CPU synchronized with two points a and b in one cycle of the ECG signal, the elasticity image generating section obtains from a cinememory two frames of sound ray data of a body part to be examined. The two frames of the sound ray data correspond to the two points a and b respectively. A strain St is calculated from the obtained sound ray data. Further, the plasma is generated using a gas having the hydrogen component or this gas is liquefied into droplets thereof on the sample surface, so that halogen components (Cl, Br, etc.) adhered to the aluminum-containing wiring material through the etching treatment are reacted with hydrogen and are effectively removed in the form of hydrogen chloride (HCl) or hydrogen bromide (HBr). This makes it possible to obtain the aluminum-containing wiring material having high corrosion prevention performance.

There is provided a copper-based sliding alloy excellent in wear resistance and anti-seizure property. A phase of 2 to 30 wt. % lead is dispersed in the copper alloy. This lead phase contains 0.1 to 6 vol. % hard particles such as SiC, SiO2, Si3N4, Al2O3, TiC, WC and TiN having an average particle size of 5 to 25 &mgr;m. Because hard particles are included in the lead phase, wear resistance is excellent and anti-seizure property is improved. The lead phase, which is soft, serves as a cushion and the attack on a mating member by hard particles is reduced. Further, the falling-off of lead is minimized because the lead phase also includes the hard particles.

There is disclosed a novel aluminum alloy bearing which exhibits a more excellent fatigue resistance than conventional bearings even under such conditions of use as at a high temperature and under a high load. The aluminum alloy bearing has an aluminum bearing alloy layer containing, by weight, 1 to 10% Zn, 0.1 to 5% Cu, 0.05 to 3% Mg, 0.1 to 2% Mn, 0.1 to 5% Pb, 0.1 to 2% V, and 0.03 to 0.5% in total of Ti--B, and further may optionally contain not more than 8% Si, 0.05 to 0.5% Sr, and Ni, Co and Cr. The alloy may be bonded to a steel metal back sheet, and a surface layer may be formed on the surface of the bearing. By use of the composition of the alloy of the invention, the fatigue resistance of the aluminum alloy bearings has been improved, and such an improved bearing can fully achieve a bearing performance even under severe conditions of use as at high temperature and under a high load.
