摘要： A watertight connector includes male and female housings (10, 20). The male housing (10) has an engaging end surface (10A) with a mounting recess (15) in which a seal (40) is mountable. The seal (40) has sealing portions (45) to be fitted around outer surfaces of pillars (16) that surround male terminal fittings (13). A lattice-shaped array of press-in grooves (46) is provided between the sealing portions (45), and a peripheral press-in groove (47) is formed between the sealing portions (45) and the mounting recess (15). A peripheral rib (32) and a lattice-shaped array of ribs (33) project from an engaging end surface (20A) of the female housing (20). The ribs (32, 33) enter the press-in grooves (46, 47) as the housings (10, 20) are connected and come into sealing contact with the outer circumferential surfaces of the sealing portions (45).

Inner surfaces of opposite side walls of a cavity (11) of the connector housing (10) are formed with guiding grooves (16) for permitting the passage of restricting projections (24) when a properly oriented female terminal fitting (20) is inserted. In the outer surfaces of the opposite side walls of the connector housing (10) are formed guide grooves (18) for permitting the passage of engaging projections (42) of a retainer (40). Through holes (17) are so formed in the side walls of the connector housing (10) as to provide partial communication between the guiding grooves (16) and the guide grooves (18).

摘要： Four sets of shower heads 100, 200, 300, 400 are located in a surface modifying chamber of a surface modifying apparatus, and each shower head 100, 200, 300, 400 has surface modifier piping including a plurality of spray nozzles. The nozzles are arranged such that showers of an aqueous ozone solution injected from every adjacent two nozzles will contact the resin molded product and partly overlap one another. The phases in position of the nozzles can be offset a half-pitch or staggered with the staggered arrangement of the nozzles serving to compensate for any insufficient oxidation reaction to achieve uniform surface modification over the entire surface of the resin molded product 2. Further, the time required for the surface modification treatment can be reduced.

摘要： In a photoelectric converting apparatus having a plurality of photosensors divided into an opening portion and a light shielding portion, a carrier eliminating structure to block the inflow of photosignals from the opening portion is provided between the photosensor in the light shielding portion and the photosensors in the opening portion. The photosensor comprises of a photoelectric converting transistor having a control electrode region to accumulate the carriers generated by the light excitation. The carrier eliminating structure has the same constitution as that of the photosensor. The potential of the control electrode region is fixed to a constant potential so as to attract the carriers from the opening portion.
