摘要: A display system includes a conversion apparatus converting video luminance including a luminance value in a first luminance range and a display apparatus connected thereto and displaying the video. The conversion apparatus includes a first acquisition unit, a first luminance converter, a second luminance converter, a quantization converter, and an output unit outputting a third luminance signal to the display apparatus. The display apparatus includes: a second acquisition unit acquiring the third luminance signal and setting information indicating display settings recommended to the display apparatus in display of the video; a display setting unit setting the display apparatus, using the setting information; a third luminance converter converting a third code value indicated by the third luminance signal into a second luminance value compatible with a second luminance range, using the setting information; and a display controller displaying the video on the display apparatus based on the second luminance value.

摘要: A conversion method for converting luminance of a video, including a luminance value in a first luminance range, to be displayed on a display apparatus includes: acquiring a first luminance signal indicating a code value obtained by quantization of the luminance value of the video; and converting the code value indicated by the acquired first luminance signal into a second luminance value determined based on a luminance range of the display apparatus, the second luminance value being compatible with a second luminance range with a maximum value smaller than a maximum value of the first luminance range and larger than 100 nit. This provides the conversion method capable of achieving further improvement.

摘要: An AV signal transmission and receiving system capable of appropriately receiving an AV signal includes a source apparatus and a sink apparatus connected to the source apparatus via an HDMI (registered trademark) cable. The sink apparatus includes: an AV signal receiving unit which receives an AV signal via the HDMI cable; a memory which holds the EDID; a rewriting unit which rewrites the EDID; an HPD control unit which controls output of an HPD signal; and a determining unit which: determines whether the AV signal which has been received is an HDMI signal conforming to an HDMI standard or a digital visual interface (DVI) signal; and when the determining unit determines that the AV signal is a DVI signal, instructs the rewriting unit to rewrite the EDID and instructs the HPD control unit to output the HPD signal indicating that reading of the EDID which has been rewritten is possible.

摘要: A transmission method in the present disclosure includes; obtaining an image and image signal characteristics information indicating one of an opto-electrical transfer function (OETF) or an electro-optical transfer function (EOTF) as image signal characteristics of the image; and transmitting a signal including the image and the image signal characteristics information. According to the transmission method in the present disclosure, a receiving device that received a high dynamic range (HDR) image and a standard dynamic range (SDR) image transmitted through broadcasting or the like can display these images appropriately.

摘要: A control method according to the present disclosure is a control method in a first computer configured to access a database managing information on vehicles and electronic keys. The control method includes receiving, from a terminal of a user, authentication information including an electronic key and an identification for a vehicle; after determining that the authentication information is valid, transmitting, to the vehicle, a signal indicating that the user is permitted to use the vehicle; after the user starts using the vehicle, acquiring use information indicating a status of use of the vehicle from the vehicle; transmitting, when the electronic key is a company key correlated with a business entity, at least a part of the use information to a second computer related to the business entity; and not transmitting the use information when the electronic key is a personal key of the user.

摘要: A method of providing information includes acquiring allergy information related to a user from a first server, the allergy information including information indicating a level of an allergic reaction of the user to each ingredient, generating, based on the menu information and the allergy information, a personalized menu arranged for the user according to the allergy information, the menu information including information indicating one or more ingredients contained in each dish and an amount of each ingredient, and transmitting the personalized menu to the information terminal. In the generating of the personalized menu, when the level of the allergic reaction of an ingredient in the menu information is equal to or lager that a criterion value, the ingredient is determined as an allergy ingredient that causes allergy. The personalized menu includes one or more dishes, in each of which the allergy ingredient that causes allergy is reduced.

摘要: In a converting method relating to picture luminance according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the picture luminance is formed by luminance values in a first luminance range. In this method, a first luminance signal that indicates code values obtained by quantizing the luminance value of the picture is obtained, code values, which are associated with the code values indicated by the obtained first luminance signal by quantization for a second luminance range different in a maximum value from the first luminance range are determined as converted code values, and the first luminance signal is converted into a second luminance signal indicating the converted code values. As a result, the converting method is further improved.
