摘要: A nondestructive inspection apparatus includes a vibrating section 11 which is adapted to be placed in pressure contact with a surface of a measuring object 16 for generating an acoustic elastic wave W, a receiving section 12 for receiving a reflected wave, a pushing mechanism 13 for pushing the vibrating section and the receiving section against the measuring object, a pushing force measurement section 14 for detecting pushing forces Fa, Fb during vibration, a vibration control section 10 for driving the vibrating section, and a reception signal processing section 15 for determining the internal defect based on a reception signal R. The reception signal processing section includes a reflection energy calculation section for calculating a reflection energy level due to elasticity vibration of the measuring object, a reflection energy correction section for normalizing the reflection energy level by the pushing force to calculate a correction value; and an internal defect determination section for detecting the internal defect based on the correction value. With this arrangement, the absolute reflection energy level of the reflected wave is determined through comparison, thereby making it possible to improve the evaluation accuracy of the internal defect to a substantial extent.

摘要: A receiving apparatus is provided for receiving a serial signal composed of a sequence of signals transmitted through a transmission medium. In the receiving apparatus, a receiving circuit receives as a received signal a serial signal, which is a sequence of signals including at least one of a synchronizing signal and an information signal, and which includes a plurality of signals being the same as each other and being apart from each other by a predetermined time interval. Then, a delaying circuit generates a delayed signal by delaying the received signal by the predetermined time interval, and a multiplying circuit generates a multiplied signal by multiplying the received signal by the delayed signal. Finally, a detecting circuit detects at least one of the synchronizing signal and the information signal, based on the multiplied signal.

摘要: An acoustic wave transmission system comprises an acoustic wave generating metal tubular member for converting information about the bottom of a borehole, which is obtained by a bottom hole sensor, into an acoustic wave. The acoustic wave generating metal tubular member includes a acoustic wave generating mechanism having at least a magnetostrictive oscillator which is mounted in a recess formed in an outer wall of the acoustic wave generating metal tubular member, and on which a compressive load is imposed by means of a pre-load mechanism using a vise. The magnetostrictive oscillator is constructed of a stack of thin plates each made of a metal magnetostrictive material having a property of increasing its dimensions when magnetized, the thin plates being bonded together by a heat-resistant adhesive. The magnetostrictive oscillator can thus have a buckling strength large enough to resist the compressive load imposed thereon by the pre-load mechanism and a stress due to a strain caused in itself. The acoustic wave generating metal tubular member further includes an excitation current supplier for supplying either a rectangular, sinusoidal, or triangular alternating excitation current modulated with the information about the bottom of the borehole and having a frequency that is half the carrier frequency of the acoustic wave, or a series of excitation pulses modulated with the information about the bottom of the borehole and having a pulse repetition rate that is equal to the carrier frequency of the acoustic wave, to an excitation winding wound around the magnetostrictive oscillator.

摘要: A stud welding apparatus has a welding jig, guide frames and a cartesian coordinate type robot. This robot has a travelling frame, a robot main body, an elevating arm and a stud welding gun. Power supply passages are provided on the travelling frame, the robot main body and the elevating arm, respectively, such that electric power can be supplied from a welding power source to the stud welding gun via these power supply passages. The power supply passage provided on the travelling frame is formed in a first power supply bar which is fixed to the travelling frame and is elongated in a horizontal direction. A pressure type first power supply joint is provided on the robot main body and urges a contact member to be connected to the power supply passage provided on the robot main body into contact and away from the first power supply bar by means of a cylinder. The power supply passage provided on the elevating arm is formed in a second power supply bar which is fixed to the elevating arm and is elongated in a vertical direction. A pressure type second power supply joint is provided on the robot main body and urges a contact member to be connected to the power supply passage provided on the robot main body into contact and away from the second power supply bar by means of a cylinder.
