In a developing device for an image forming apparatus and of the type using a developer consisting of toner and magnetic carrier, a toner hopper has an opening for replenishing toner stored therein. The developer is regulated by a doctor blade to form a thin layer on a developing sleeve. The developer scraped off by the doctor blade is introduced into a developer storing chamber and caused to move toward the opening of the hopper due to its own internal pressure and gravity. The developer from the hopper is returned toward the doctor blade along the surface of the sleeve. The developer on the sleeve and regulated by the doctor blade is conveyed to a developing position where the sleeve faces an image carrier. The toner contained in the developer is a magnetic toner. When the toner concentration of the developer has reached an upper limit, a space or gap exists in the developer storing chamber.

A paper container according to the present invention includes a tab region half cut for defining a tab region of a shape whose lower part is closed and whose upper part is opened in the substantially central part of one of top folded-in side panels. A stopper is applied to an upper end of the tab region or near the upper end. The tab region is pulled from below after a pair of top folded-in side panels are separated apart, whereby a tab is formed, and the tab is pulled to split the seal between the top ribs and then the top folded-in ribs, and then the seal is opened. The tab region half cut is simply provided, and a stopper is simply provided for prohibiting breakage of the tab. The tab is not raised until the seal is opened, so that the tab does not interfere with manufacturing the container.

The present invention relates to a process for producing reduced coenzyme Q10 which comprises obtaining microbial cells containing reduced coenzyme Q10 at a ratio of not less than 70 mole % among the entire coenzymes Q10, optionally disrupting the cells and recovering thus produced reduced coenzyme Q10. The present invention also relates to a process for producing oxidized coenzyme Q10 which comprises either recovering oxidized coenzyme Q10 after oxidizing the above-mentioned microbial cells or disrupted product thereof, or recovering reduced coenzyme Q10 from the above-mentioned microbial cells or disrupted product thereof to oxidize thus-obtained reduced coenzyme Q10 thereafter. According to the processes of the present invention, reduced coenzyme Q10 and oxidized coenzyme Q10 can be produced simply on the industrial scale.

There is provided an antioxidant agent excellent in anti-dripping property and anti-peeling property. The antioxidant agent in accordance with the present invention contains a plurality of glass frits having different softening points, potter's clay, and bentonite and/or sepiolite. On account of the potter's clay, the antioxidant agent applied to the surface of a metallic starting material is less liable to drip down. Further, on account of the bentonite and/or sepiolite, the antioxidant agent is less liable to peel off the surface of the metallic starting material.
