    摘要: When a cavity accommodating movable portion of an external force detecting sensor has a narrow structure, the external force detecting sensor is influenced by air damping, and therefore the cavity should have a wide structure. However, when a top surface and bottom surface of the cavity are positioned too high, the range of vertical movement of the movable portion is increased, and when an external impact force is applied to the external force detecting sensor, a movable interdigitated electrode rides on fixed interdigitated electrodes and stays there, thus the external force detecting sensor is rendered inoperable. A height D from the fixed interdigitated electrodes to the top surface and bottom surface of the cavity is set by having, as elements, widths of the movable interdigitated electrode, and fixed interdigitated electrodes set to W1, W2, and W3, the height of the movable interdigitated electrode and fixed interdigitated electrodes set to h, and gaps between the movable interdigitated electrode and fixed interdigitated electrodes set to g1 and g2, and the movable portion is structured so as to securely return to the standstill position due to resiliency of a beam.

    摘要: An image display apparatus includes a display unit including a substrate having an outer surface and an image display area, a conductive layer disposed on the substrate via an adhesive layer, and a conductive tape disposed on the outer surface of the substrate. In addition, a member holds the conductive layer against the substrate. Part of the adhesive layer is layered between the conductive tape and at least a part of the conductive layer, with the conductive tape including a projection portion contacting the conductive layer such that the conductive layer and the conductive tape are electrically connected. The member sandwiches the conductive layer, the conductive tape having the projection portion, and the display unit, and the conductive tape is a ground potential.

    摘要: A variable capacitance element includes a movable element provided above a substrate using supporting portions and support beams so as to be displaced from the substrate. An insulating film and a movable electrode are provided on a conductor facing surface of the movable element. A driving electrode is arranged to displace the movable element, between a signal cutoff position and a signal passage position, whereby a high frequency signal transmitted through a transmission line is cut off or allowed to pass. The insulating film uses compressive stress to warp the movable element and the movable electrode in a direction of warping in a convex form toward the transmission line, and maintains this warping direction.
