    摘要: A method of manufacturing a positive electrode foil of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is provided in which anodizing conditions are optimally determined and automatically set to minimize the loss of production and to produce a constant quality of the positive electrode foil. The method comprises an etching process and an anodizing process. An etched foil produced in the etching process is subjected to a constant current inspection, and then, the anodizing conditions are determined from the result of the constant current inspection. The anodizing conditions are transferred to a control panel in the anodizing process where they are automatically registered as its settings. Also, an apparatus for manufacturing the positive electrode foil is provided which has a voltage sensor connected between an output running roller and cathode electrodes in an anodizing tank. A voltage measured by the voltage sensor is fed back to a direct-current source for controlling its output voltage.

    摘要: A plug hole pipe 79 has thread grooves 81 formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof and causes a spark plug 11 to be pressed against a cylinder head 51 when the plug hole pipe is fixedly attached to the cylinder head 51 through screw engagement. The spark plug 11 is configured such that no thread grooves are formed on the outer circumferential surface of a front end portion 25 of a metallic shell 19, and can be vertically inserted into a plug disposition hole 51a formed in the cylinder head 51. By vertically inserting the spark plug 11 into the plug disposition hole 51a while the orientation of a ground electrode 21 is set beforehand in relation to the cylinder head 51, the ground electrode 21 can be oriented in a specific direction.

    摘要: When an electric appliance unit functions as an electric motor, a rotary shaft is rotated by electric current supplied to the electric appliance unit. When the electric appliance unit functions as a generator, the generator generates electricity as the rotary shaft rotates. A first rotation permitting mechanism is located between the rotor and the rotary shaft to permit the rotor and the rotary shaft to rotate relative to each other. A one-way clutch is located between the rotor and the rotary shaft. The one-way clutch permits the rotary shaft to rotate in one direction relative to the rotor and prevents the rotary shaft from rotating in the other direction relative to the rotor. A second rotation permitting mechanism is located between the housing and the rotor. The second rotation permitting mechanism permits the rotor to rotate relative to the housing. Power transmitted from the external drive source to the rotor is transmitted to the rotary shaft via the one-way clutch. The rotor is supported by the housing with the second rotation permitting mechanism.

    摘要: A pressure sensor-incorporating spark plug including a groove 17e for accommodating an output cable 27 formed on a side surface of a hexagonal portion 17a. A U-shaped member is bent into a tubular shape to obtain a fixing member 31. After the fixing member 31 and the output cable 27 passing through the fixing member 31 are placed in the groove 17e, the fixing member 31 is crimped in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 5(a), so that the fixing member 31 is deformed to fit the wall surface of the groove 17e. Thus, the output cable 27 is nipped by the fixing member 31, and the fixing member 31 is held within the groove 17e of the hexagonal portion 17a. As a result, the output cable 27 is fixed to the hexagonal portion 17a.

    摘要: An arrangement for lubricating the piston pin and associated bearing surfaces in a reciprocating machine wherein a charge is compressed in a crankcase chamber. The arrangement includes a groove in the cooperating bearing surfaces in which lubricant is retained. The opposite ends of the groove are exposed to different pressure areas in the engine that vary cyclically, but not in phase with each other so lubricant will be pumped back and forth in the groove during the cyclic engine operation.

    摘要: A two-cycle internal combustion engine control method and system wherein economy of fuel consumption and emission control is achieved by skipping fuel injection for a number of cycles dependent upon a decrease in the engine speed and load below a predetermined value. When fuel injection is skipped, the duration of fuel injection is increased. The escape of unburned fuel from the exhaust port is achieved when the fuel injection amount is increased by advancing the timing of the fuel injection and by retarding the opening of the exhaust port.
