摘要： A cathode, an anode and a porous film are first provided. Then, the cathode and anode are aligned with the porous film and a part of the cathode and a part of the anode are fixed to said porous film. Then, the cathode, anode and porous film are immersed in a liquid electrolyte. Finally, the cathode and anode are integrated with the porous film by compression. With this process, it is possible to produce a thin and lightweight polymer secondary battery or other secondary batteries with ease yet at low cost.

摘要： A removable hard disk drive is detachable from a computer apparatus, and includes a storage medium for storing data from the computer apparatus and a communication interface with the computer apparatus. Upon reception of eject instruction issued by the computer apparatus, the removable hard disk drive writes contents cashed in a cache memory into a disk, and shifts to an ejectable state. Upon the completion of the shift to the ejectable state, the removable hard disk drive externally outputs an eject signal. A microprocessor which controls an eject mechanism executes removable hard disk cartridge eject operation in response to the eject signal.

摘要： This invention relates to a service which manages data using an information processing server on a network and allows another user to browse the managed data in accordance with an instruction from a data owner. Also, this invention particularly relates to a case wherein a terminal that the other user uses to browse the managed data is a compact information processing apparatus such as a mobile phone or the like. Upon providing the managed data and appended data associated with the managed data to a terminal of the other user, the information processing server changes the appended data and a method of providing the appended data in correspondence with the performance of the terminal of the other user. For example, upon displaying image data on a mobile phone of the other user, if message information associated with that image data has a large information size and cannot be fully displayed on the mobile phone of the other user, the information processing server changes the message information to shorter information, and provides the changed information to the mobile phone of the other user. The server causes the mobile phone of the other user to display a link to full message information, and allows it to receive the message information by accessing that link.

摘要： There is provided a portable storage device which makes it possible to largely reduce time that is taken to remove the storage cartridge that is inserted and cannot be handled. A removable hard disk cartridge contains a hard disk and a control circuit for control of writing and reading of data in and from the hard disk in a casing thereof. A main unit includes an automatic loading/ejecting mechanism that receives the hard disk cartridge into a predetermined inner position within the main unit and ejects the same out from the position, and a microprocessor that controls storage operation for storing data in the hard disk cartridge. Before the automatic loading/ejecting mechanism performs a receiving operation, it is determined whether access to contents recorded on the hard disk can be gained, and when the access cannot be gained, the receiving operation by the automatic loading/ejecting mechanism is inhibited.

摘要： An apparatus for manufacturing a color conversion filter, having a color filter layer on a transparent substrate. A coloring matter layer containing color conversion coloring matter and an optical radical generating agent are formed on the substrate and the filter layer. The coloring matter layer is exposed to coloring matter decomposition light applied through the substrate and the filter layer. The coloring matter layer also is exposed to auxiliary ultraviolet light applied from the side of the coloring matter layer. This forms a color conversion layer at a position corresponding to the filter layer. The optical radical generating agent is heat vaporized. The color conversion coloring matter is decomposed by light whose wavelength is outside a range that the color filter layer transmits. The coloring matter decomposition light includes a wavelength component that decomposes the color conversion coloring matter. The color conversion layer emits, through wavelength profile conversion, light that the color filter layer transmits.
