    摘要: This invention disclose an amorphous silicon semiconductor film containing at least hydrogen, carbon and oxygen as impurities and the method to produce it. The film is characterized in that the total quantity of carbon and oxygen in said film is at least 0.1 atom %. Since the film has small light absorption coefficient and its optical refractive index is controllable, an excellent window material for solar cell can be provided. Since adherence of the film with a metal electrode as well as with a transparent electrode is sufficient, good reproducibility in making solar cells using the film of this invention as a window material was realized.

    摘要: A semiconductor laser includes a mesa-striped laser structure. A substrate has layered on it an active layer with a refractive index higher than that of, and with an energy gap smaller than that of the substrate. A first electrode is formed under the substrate. A cladding layer of a conductivity type different than that of the substrate overlays the active layer. A multilayered burying crystal includes, at the sides of the mesa-striped laser structure, successively first, second and third burying layers. The first and third burying layers are of the same conductivity type as the substrate. The second burying layer is of a conductivity type different from that of the substrate. A cap layer of a conductivity type different than the substrate covers the upper face of the mesa-striped structure and an upper face of the third burying layer. A second electrode is formed on the cap layer. Injected current flowing into a thyristor composed of the cap layer and the three burying layers can be suppressed.

    摘要: A cap adapted for use as a container cover where the cap has a thermoplastic resin liner pressed formed onto the inner surface of a cap shell. The plastic liner is formed such that the difference between the intrasurface orientation index of the outer peripheral portion of the liner and the intrasurface orientation index of the central portion of the liner does not exceed 0.37 where the intrasurface orientation index is defined as the sum of the orientation coefficient of the liner in the radial direction and the orientation coefficient of the liner in the circular direction.A method of making a cap having a thermoplastic liner where the liner is press-formed into shape under conditions whereby the difference between the intrasurface orientation index of the outer peripheral portion of the liner and the orientation index of the central portion of the liner does not exceed 0.37.

    摘要: In a rotating electrical machine, when a stator winding is wound in concentrated winding, an improvement in performance is achieved by reducing a magnetomotive force harmonic without reducing a fundamental wave magnetic flux generated by a stator. A rotating electrical machine (10) includes a rotor (18), and two stators (14, 16) opposed with the rotor (18) being interposed therebetween either on both sides of the rotor (18) in the axial direction or on both sides of the rotor (18) in the radial direction. Stator windings (22) provided in a plurality of portions in the circumferential direction of each stator (14, 16) are wound in concentrated winding. The directions of magnetic fluxes generated by stator windings (22) having the same phase in the stators (14, 16) are in mutually opposite directions with respect to either the axial direction or the radial direction. The stator windings (22) having the same phase in the stators (14, 16) are arranged to be shifted from each other by 180 degrees in electrical angle in the circumferential direction.
