摘要： A tool handle assembly includes a molded adapter bonded to the end of a handle shaft, which adapter includes a generally cylindrical cap portion and a generally tapered frustoconical portion that surrounds the handle shaft adjacent to the cap portion. The handle assembly is inserted into a lower entrance of a tapered eyehole of a tool head such that the frustoconical portion of the adapter engages a portion of the eyehole. In one preferred form, the cap portion of the adapter includes external barbs. A pair of arcuate wedges having interior teeth are inserted between the cap portion of the adapter and the tool head and bear on the major axis of the tool head. The teeth of the wedge cooperate with the barbs of the adapter to secure the wedges in place. In another preferred form, the adapter includes a pair of slots into which wedge inserts are driven to expand the cap portion of the adapter and thus secure the tool head to the handle assembly. Again, the adapter includes barbs within the slots, and the wedges include teeth which cooperate with the barbs to secure the wedge inserts within the slots.

摘要： A carrier for testing a singularized semiconductor die prior to packaging the die utilizes a removable die supporting substrate. The die is placed in the carrier and is electrically connected to the substrate, thereby allowing for the packaging or other use of only known good die. A bridge clamp presses against a rigid cover which, in turn, bias the die against a plurality of die contacting members located on the die supporting substrate. The use of the removable die supporting substrate permits a single carrier design to accommodate different die types and further permits handling equipment to mechanically handle the one carrier design. This facilitates the handling of the carrier so that the carrier can be conveniently used during burn-in and test procedures.

摘要： A lightweight renewable hand-held tool that may be easily renewed in the field including a tool head having a tapered shaft, an expandable sleeve, a hollow handle, and a movement assembly for moving the expandable sleeve back and forth along the tapered shaft in response to a rotation of the hollow handle. The expandable sleeve includes a tapered interior that slidably mates with the tapered shaft. Consequently, rotation of the hollow handle adjustably expands the expandable sleeve, forming a tight fit between the tapered shaft and the interior of the hollow handle. The preferred movement assembly is a threaded nut that engages a threaded stud located at a lower end of the tapered shaft. An antirotation fastener is preferably used to prevent the hollow handle from thereafter rotating during use of the tool.

The hammer head unit has a hammer portion a central portion and a claw portion. The central portion has a bore hole that extends from its top surface to its bottom surface. An arbor press is used to press the wedge section into the grooves on the top end of the handle.

摘要： A hammer having unique structure in the handle receiving central portion of its hammer head unit. A wedge unit is formed from two intersecting wedge sections that are made of a specific plastic material. The top surface of one of the wedge sections is spaced downwardly a predetermined distance from the top surface of the other wedge section to form a channel for receiving a magnet. The wedge unit is driven into the top end of the hammer causing the wood to be wedged outwardly in four directions within the handle receiving central portion of the hammer head unit. The wedge sections of the wedge unit have a plurality of horizontal barbs and the respective slots formed in the top end of the handle have mating notches for receiving the horizontal barbs of the wedge unit. An epoxy adhesive may also be used to aid in holding the wedge unit in the top end of the handle.

Ends of the bars protrude from one end of the body.
