摘要: A service tank includes a container having an internal space, the container being provided with an inlet through which ink is introduced into the internal space and a plurality of supply ports through which the ink is supplied, a divider configured to divide the internal space into a plurality of compartments, and a detector configured to detect that the liquid surface of the ink is at an upper limit or a lower limit. The divider is attached between the inlet and a supply port located closest to the inlet. The divider includes a plate that prevents flow of the ink and air between adjacent compartments, an ink opening through which the ink flows between the adjacent compartments, and an air opening through which the air flows between the adjacent compartments. The plate, the ink opening, and the air opening are located in, below, and above the proper area, respectively.

摘要: A method of forming a digital embossing on a surface by bonding hard press particles to a carrier. A liquid binder pattern is applied on the carrier by a digital drop application head. Hard press particles are applied on the carrier and the binder pattern such that some hard press particles are bonded to the carrier by the liquid pattern and non-bonded press particles are removed. The carrier with the bonded hard press particles is pressed to the surface and an embossing is formed when the carrier with the hard press particles is removed.

摘要: There is provided a liquid discharging apparatus including a head unit that has a first driving element and discharges a first liquid based on a first drive signal for driving the first driving element and a first control signal for controlling application of the first drive signal to the first driving element and a circuit substrate. First drive signal transmitting wiring through which the first drive signal is transmitted. The shortest distance between a first side of the circuit substrate and the first drive signal transmitting wiring is shorter than the shortest distance between the first drive signal transmitting wiring and the first control signal transmitting wiring. The shortest distance between a second side opposing the first side of the circuit substrate and the first control signal transmitting wiring is shorter than the shortest distance between the first drive signal transmitting wiring and the first control signal transmitting wiring.

摘要: Pigment based particles in powder form intended to be used as colourants in a digital print formed by applying dry colourants on a surface, bonding a part of the colourants with a binder and removing the non-bonded colourants from the surface. A panel with a surface including a digitally formed print of macro colourants including a particle body and colour pigments attached to the surface of the particle body is also described. The colourants are arranged in patterns with pigments on an upper and lower surface of the particle body.

摘要: An ink let recording method using an apparatus including plural aqueous inks, a recording head having a heat-generating portion to eject the inks, and ink storage portions therefor which are housings bonded to the recording head, the method including ejecting the inks from the recording head to record an image on a recording medium. The recording head has plural ejection orifice arrays corresponding to the inks and including a first and a second ejection orifice array at both sides and a third ejection orifice array at the other positions. A protective layer containing tantalum or tantalum oxide is formed on the heat-generating portion to contact with the inks. Dynamic surface tension and lightness of the ink corresponding to the third ejection orifice array are respectively smaller than maximum dynamic surface tension and larger than minimum lightness of the inks corresponding to the first and second ejection orifice arrays.

摘要: A method and equipment to form a digital print by applying dry colourants on a surface of a panel, bonding a part of the colourants with a binder and removing the non-bonded colourants from the surface. The method of forming a digital print on a surface of a panel includes displacing the panel under a digital drop application head, applying a liquid binder with the digital drop application head on the surface; applying colourants on the liquid binder and the surface; bonding a part of the colourants to the surface with the liquid binder; removing non-bonded colourants from the surface such that a digital print is formed by the bonded colourants; and applying heat and pressure on the panel, the surface and the bonded colorants such that the colourants are permanently bonded to the surface.
