摘要: A microfluidic mixing device comprises a main channel and a number of secondary channels extending from a portion of the main channel and entering another portion of the main channel. A number of actuators are located in the secondary channels to pump fluids through the secondary channels. A microfluidic mixing system comprises a microfluidic mixing device. The microfluidic mixing device comprises a main fluid mixing channel, a number of main channel actuators to pump fluid through the main fluid mixing channel, a number of secondary channels fluidly coupled to the main fluid mixing channel, and a number of secondary channel actuators to pump fluids through the secondary channels. The microfluidic mixing device also comprises a fluid source, and a control device to provide fluids from the fluid source to the microfluidic mixing device and activate the main channel actuators and secondary channel actuators.

A restraint mechanism (35) including a thrust collar (41) attached to a shaft end of a rotary shaft (19a) of a generator positioned on a side opposite to a flexible coupling and two thrust bearings (42) disposed to oppose both end surfaces forming a flange portion (44) of the thrust collar (41) is accommodated in a recess (51) formed on a front surface side of a shell housing positioned on a side opposite to the casing.

摘要: A control valve is provided that includes a valve body, a valve element, a first radial seal, and a second radial seal. The valve body forms an inlet, an outlet, and a fluid flow passage therebetween. The valve element is disposed at least partially within the valve body, and is movable between at least a closed position and an open position. When the valve element is in the closed position, fluid is restricted from flowing through the fluid flow passage. When the valve element is in the open position, the fluid is allowed to flow through the fluid flow passage. The first radial seal is disposed against the valve body at a first distance from a centerline of the control valve. The second radial seal is disposed against the valve body at a second distance from the centerline, the second distance being greater than the first distance.

摘要: A method of modifying a steam turbine to change from a first maximum thermal power of the steam generator to a second maximum thermal power of the steam generator. The method can include replacing, in the high-pressure module, at least one set of fixed blades sized for the first maximum thermal power by at least one set of fixed blades sized for the second maximum thermal power. The at least one set of moving blades are sized to operate at the first and second maximum thermal powers. The rotor and the at least one set of moving blades of the high-pressure module remain unchanged on changing from the first maximum thermal power to the second maximum thermal power.

摘要: A control valve is provided that includes a valve body, a valve element, a first radial seal, and a second radial seal. The valve body forms an inlet, an outlet, and a fluid flow passage therebetween. The valve element is disposed at least partially within the valve body, and is movable between at least a closed position and an open position.
