    摘要: Provided are an internal olefin sulfonate composition which shows excellent hue stability and excellent smell stability even when preserved for a long period of time, and a method for preserving an internal olefin sulfonate. The internal olefin sulfonate composition according to the present invention comprises an internal olefin sulfonate, one or more kinds of alkaline agents selected from among an alkali metal hydroxide and an alkaline earth metal hydroxide and water, wherein the content of the alkaline agents is 0.2 to 15 mmol inclusive per mol of the internal olefin sulfonate. The method according to the present invention for preserving an internal olefin sulfonate comprises mixing the internal olefin sulfonate at least with an alkaline agent to give a composition wherein the content of the alkaline agent is 0.2 to 15 mmol inclusive per mol of the internal olefin sulfonate.

Disclosed are a process for producing a granular anionic surfactant, which including stirring particles containing 50 to 100 wt % of an anionic surfactant at a temperature at which the anionic surfactant exhibits thermoplasticity at a stirring Froude number as defined below by equation (i) of 0.1 or more and less than 2.0; a granular anionic surfactant obtained by the process; a granular anionic surfactant having a surface roughness (Ra) of 1.0 μm or less; and a detergent composition comprising the granular anionic surfactant.     摘要: A process for separating and recovering paraffin sulphonic acids from mixtures with water and sulphuric acid is described, consisting of: bringing such a mixture into contact under extraction conditions with a saturated aliphatic or cycloaliphatic liquid hydrocarbon; separating an aqueous liquid phase containing sulphuric acid from an organic liquid phase consisting of the extraction solvent containing the paraffin sulphonic acids; and recovering the paraffin sulphonic acids from said organic liquid phase. The process is particularly applicable to products obtained from processes involving the sulphoxidation of paraffins with sulphur dioxide and oxygen, catalyzed by U.V. radiation.
