摘要: System that facilitates rapid onboarding of an autonomous (cashier-less) store by capturing images of the store's items from multiple angles, with varying background colors, and that builds a classifier training dataset from these images. Background surfaces may for example be coated with retroreflective tape or film, and variable-color incident light sources may generate the desired background colors. Embodiments may automatically rotate or otherwise reorient the item placed in the onboarding system, so that a relatively small number of cameras can capture views from multiple angles. When an item is placed in the system, a fully automated process may generate a sequence of item orientations and background colors, and may capture and process images from the cameras to create training images. Images of the item from multiple angles, under varying lighting conditions, may be captured without requiring an operator to move or reorient the item.

摘要: An image captured using a sensor on a vehicle is received and decomposed into a plurality of component images. Each component image of the plurality of component images is provided as a different input to a different layer of a plurality of layers of an artificial neural network to determine a result. The result of the artificial neural network is used to at least in part autonomously operate the vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed is a driving method of a display device which includes driving a display panel, which includes a pixel and a fingerprint sensor and displays a static image and a dynamic Image, at a first frequency, and driving the display panel at a second frequency lower than the first frequency for the purpose of sensing a finger and reading a fingerprint through the fingerprint sensor. The driving of the display panel at the second frequency includes driving the display panel at a (2−1)-th frequency when the display panel senses the fingerprint and displays the dynamic image, and driving the display panel at a (2−2)-th frequency different in value from the (2−1)-th frequency when the display panel senses the fingerprint and displays the static image.

摘要: A pallet sled includes a pair of tines extending forward from a base. A camera is mounted on the pallet sled and is configured to record images, such as video, as the pallet sled brings pallets of items from a truck into a store. At least one processor is used to analyze the images from the pallet sled. The images are used to determine inventory levels in the store, conditions of the store, conditions of the pathways of the pallet sled. An accelerometer on the pallet sled detects hard braking and accidents.

摘要: A computer-implemented augmented reality-based method provides a user device access to data content by processing of camera image captured by the user device to identify a candidate visual area, which are then processed to identify visual features indicative of available data content. The identified features are compared to visual features of database objects indicative of available data content, and a determination made regarding the object that corresponds to the identified features. Instructions are then generated to augment a display of the camera image with selectable image features. In response to a selection of one of the selectable image features, a determination is made regarding whether the user device has permission to access the data content associated with the selected image feature. If not, a payment settlement arrangement is implemented for the user device to gain access permission to the data content.
