    Abstract: An air conditioning service system includes an accumulator defining an accumulator chamber, a pressure transducer operably connected to the accumulator chamber, a drain valve operably connected to the accumulator chamber, and a controller operably connected to the pressure transducer and the drain valve. The controller includes a processor configured to execute program instructions stored in a memory to determine a volume of liquid drained from the accumulator by: determining a volumetric flow rate of liquid through the drain valve by controlling the drain valve with the controller to an open position for a predetermined period of time; detecting an increased rate of pressure reduction while the drain valve is open; and determining an amount of liquid drained through the drain valve based upon the volumetric flow rate and a total time elapsed between opening the drain valve and the increased rate of pressure reduction.

    Abstract: A tire pressure monitor system tool that stores information regarding a plurality of tire pressure monitor systems. The information may include procedures for resetting and diagnosing the tire pressure monitor system. The tool may include a storing module that stores the information and a displaying module that causes the information to be displayed on a display of the tool. The tool may enable a user to input data regarding a vehicle. Based on the vehicle data input by the user, the tool may determine a tire pressure monitor system installed on the vehicle using the information stored. Based on the tire pressure monitoring system installed on the vehicle, the tool may determine one or more reset or diagnostic procedures that may be performed by the tool. The tool may also reference the owner's manual of the vehicle. The tool may also include an updating module that updates the information stored by the tool. The tool may also include an update interface that may be, for example, an RS232 port. The tool may interface with an electronic control unit of a vehicle.

The method includes determining, using a position sensor of the wireless device, a position of the wire loom relative to the vehicle and to the wireless device. The method includes generating an interactive wiring diagram of the wire connection based upon the identifying. The interactive wiring diagram includes a trace route indicating a presence of a third vehicle component between the first and the second vehicle component.

    Abstract: Tire bead holding pliers includes a first jaw having a lipped plate configured to engage an outboard side of a wheel rim to locate the pliers, and a second jaw defined by a first and second hook and configured to curve around the wheel rim, move toward the first jaw, and engage an inboard side of the wheel rim as the pliers are tightened. The first hook has a first concave portion facing away from the first jaw and configured to receive a bead. The second hook extends from the first hook opposite the first concave portion, has a second concave portion facing the first jaw, and clamps the wheel rim therebetween. During tire installation or removal, the bead is hooked onto the second jaw, which holds the bead in place during the operation in a hands-free fashion.

    Abstract: A system for connecting an electric vehicle to a Level I or Level II power source. The system including an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) having an electrical plug compatible with a Level I or Level II power outlet, the plug connected to a power cord. The power cord is connected to a housing containing a number of electrical components configured to control the power flow to an electric vehicle to recharge the vehicle's batteries, via either Level I or Level II. The power cord extends from the housing and is connected to a standard electric vehicle connector compatible with battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). The EVSE further includes safety measures, such as a relay that controls the flow of power to the vehicle connector and a ground fault interrupter, to protect users from high voltage electric shocks.
