A surface treating method for treating a surface of a substrate inside a process chamber includes the steps of generating an atmosphere containing no moisture in the process chamber, heating the substrate inside the atmosphere containing no moisture in the process chamber; and causing a reaction between the substrate and an adhesion accelerating agent by feeding the adhesion accelerating agent gas into the process chamber.
Abstract:
Provided is a method that achieves both of soft ionization and high ionization efficiency of a substance to be analyzed at each measurement site without impairing a two-dimensional distribution state of the substance to be analyzed in desorption ionization mass spectrometry of a substance to be measured. By applying, to a substance to be analyzed, an ionization assisting reagent including an organic acid including a functional group represented by —(CF2)COOH and having a boiling point of 150° C. or more, and a polyhydric alcohol having a melting point of 20° C. or less and a boiling point of 150° C. or more at normal pressure, the organic acid, which is a component of the ionization assisting reagent, effectively donates a proton to the substance to be analyzed, thereby improving ionization efficiency, and the polyhydric alcohol, which is a component of the ionization assisting reagent, inhibits fragmentation.
Abstract:
The present invention intends to provide a high sensitivity method for identifying the type of a protein contained in each cell with a diameter of ten to several tens μm and a sample treatment solution required for it. The above is achieved by three steps of (1) treating a slice of a diseased tissue with an aqueous solution containing gold particles and a digestive enzyme, and digesting restrictively a protein of interest, (2) measuring a 2-dimensional distribution of fragmented peptides by TOF-SIMS, and (3) visualizing a 2-dimensional distribution of the target protein in the slice of the diseased tissue using the results of the proteome analysis and by means of a numerical analysis.
Abstract:
Target molecules in a sample can be detected at an improved sensitivity by means of a mass spectrometer. A sample with or without a matrix is placed on a substrate and irradiated with a converged and pulsed primary beam selected from an ion beam, a neutral particle beam or a laser beam. Secondary ions and neutral molecules are emitted along with protons from the irradiated point of the sample as an electric field is applied between the substrate and an extraction electrode disposed above the substrate. A proton-control electrode is arranged in axial symmetry with the trajectory of the primary beam. A voltage is applied thereto so that the generated electric field decelerates the flying protons to raise their adhering efficiency to the flying neutral molecules.
Abstract:
A control device that controls a plurality of air conditioners includes a data memory section for storing performance model data representing the relationship between air conditioning capability and power consumption for each of the plurality of air conditioners. An overall air conditioning load calculating section calculates an overall load that is the sum of air conditioning loads of the plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses. An air conditioning capability allocation calculating section an air conditioning capability for each of the plurality of air conditioners on the basis of the performance model data and the overall load so that the sum of the air conditioning capability of the plurality of air conditioners is the overall load and the sum of the power consumption of the plurality of air conditioners is minimum. A control signal section sends a control signal related to the air conditioning capability to each of the plurality of air conditioners.
