Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a local dimming driving method and device of a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) device, which is capable of preventing color change due to gray scale saturation when data is compensated while enabling local dimming. The local dimming driving method of the LCD device includes detecting maximum values per pixel from input image data, analyzing the maximum values per pixel on a block-by-block basis, and determining local dimming values per block according to the analysis result, calculating a first gain value using the local dimming values per block, calculating a maximum gain value per pixel using the maximum value per pixel as a second gain value, selecting a smaller value of the first and second gain values as a final gain value, compensating the input image data using the final gain value, and controlling luminance of a backlight unit on the block-by-block basis using the local dimming value per block.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a system for managing and using history information of terminals in a Converged Personal Network Service (CPNS) environment. The system includes a CPNS server for collecting and storing access information and history information of mobile communication terminals and end devices which transmit and receive information over a wireless local area network, and, if the previously stored history information is requested while a CPNS service is active between a mobile communication terminal and an end device, extracting the corresponding information, and providing the extracted information to the mobile communication terminal and the end device, the mobile communication terminals each for, while using the CPNS service, performing a CPNS service-related procedure using the history information received from the CPNS server, and the end devices each for, while using the CPNS service, performing a CPNS service-related procedure using the history information received via the mobile communication terminal.
Abstract:
A memory card includes a first signal terminal configured to output a first signal; a second signal terminal configured to output a second signal, the first and second signals being complementary to each other; and a controller configured to drive the first and second signal terminals to have a negative state until a link connection is performed after power is supplied to the memory card. When a level of the first signal is greater than a level of the second signal, the first and second signal terminals are in a positive state, whereas when a level of the first signal is smaller than a level of the second signal, the first and second signal terminals are in the negative state.
Abstract:
A hydraulic system provided with a relief valve for a construction machine is disclosed, which can reduce a discharge flow rate of a hydraulic pump when a relief valve is operated. The hydraulic system for a construction machine includes a variable displacement hydraulic pump connected to an engine, an attachment operation device outputting an operation signal in proportion to an operation amount by an operator, an attachment actuator connected to the hydraulic pump to be driven by an operation of the attachment operation device, a control valve installed in a flow path between the hydraulic pump and the attachment actuator and shifted to control a start, a stop, and a direction change of the attachment actuator, an orifice installed in a flow path branched from a discharge flow path of the hydraulic pump, a relief valve installed on a downstream side of the orifice in the flow path, and a controller outputting a control signal to a flow control valve of the hydraulic pump so as to reduce a discharge flow rate of the hydraulic pump when a difference between pressures before and after the orifice exceeds a predetermined value.
Abstract:
A gate drive circuit includes a plurality of driving stages. An n-th (‘n’ is a natural number) driving stage includes a pull-up part, a carry part, a first pull-down part, a first pull-up/down control part and a second pull-up/down control part. The first pull-up/down control part applies a first power signal of an ON voltage to a control terminal of the pull-up part in a forward direction mode, and applies the first power signal of a second OFF voltage to a control terminal of the pull-up part in a reverse direction mode. The second pull-up/down control part applies a second power signal of the second OFF voltage to the control terminal of the pull-up part in the forward direction mode, and applies the second power signal of the ON voltage to the control terminal of the pull-up part in the reverse direction mode.
