Abstract:
A stylus comprises a first shell, a second shell, a first slide enabling member. The first shell has a first hole defined therethough. The second shell is slidably accommodated in the first hole of the first shell. The first slide enabling member couples the second shell to the first shell such that the second shell slides relative to the first shell from a retracted configuration to an extending configuration. The first slide enabling member includes a first pin and a first track that engages the first pin, the second shell slides relative to the first shell along the first pin.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are presented to support operation of a multiple subscriber identity module (SIM) device. A first SIM may perform a data transfer or voice call. During the first SIM's data transfer or voice call, transition times are identified to transition communication resources to a second SIM for use in performing a registration update communication with a network controller that supports the second SIM. The registration update communication may include a periodic location update, a periodic routing update, or a periodic tracking update. The multiple SIM device may identify the transition time by obtaining periodic registration timing information from the network controller, configuring a periodic registration timer based on the periodic registration timing information, and setting the transition time as an expiration time of the periodic registration timer.
Abstract:
A power-saving method adapted in a multi-mode display device is provided. The power-saving method comprises the steps as follows. A brightness of an ambient light is detected. When the brightness of the ambient light lies within a transmissive range, the multi-mode display device is operated in a transmissive mode and enables the backlight module of the multi-mode display. When the brightness of the ambient light lies within a transflective range, the multi-mode display device is operated in a transflective mode and the brightness of the backlight module is dynamically adjusted according to a compensation method. When the brightness of the ambient light lies within a reflective range, the multi-mode display device is operated in a reflective mode and turns off the backlight module.
